America's Army 3 Alley Fog Tournament

First round of matches have been now played. Also first Losers Bracket matches have been played in the North American side. Here's a small summary of the played matches.

North America (NA)

Stryker Brigade won against Cyber Soldiers International by a forfeit.

-Delta Force Legends- won against Lethal Assassins 7-6

Devil'aSSaSSion'S won against Force of the United Nations by a forfeit.

Merc Two won against Slaughter and Mayhem 7-4

Losers Bracket

Lethal Assassins won against Force of the United Nations by a forfeit.

Slaughter and Mayhem won against Cyber Soldiers International by a forfeit.

Next Sunday we will have two NA matches in the Winners Bracket.

Stryker Brigade vs. Assassin-Squad
Delta Force Legends vs. Fragweiser Gaming

Winners will advance to the third round and the Loosing side will move to the Losers Bracket.

Polish Ghost Squad won against Swedish Royal Guard 11-1

Virtual Insanity won against nighTroopers 5-4

No "I" In Team won against -Special Force- 9-3

Next matches in the EU side will be played in the upcoming Sunday.

The tournament has kicked off, sadly there were few forfeits. Hopefully, next matches will get played and no forfeits will be awarded. Next matches have been scheduled and teams are encouraged to communicate your server choices etc details via match comms as soon as possible. I would like to remind that match comms are the only place to communicate server details etc, rant boards are not for that purpose. Any questions you might have contact your region admins.

Lot of forfeits?

If these teams were not going to play to begin with why were they not removed. Total of 5 free passes were given out and it's only the 1st round? hehehe

On the bright side, at least who is left is here to play...

We might have a feeling that whos not showing up etc. But that "feeling" really isnt enough. With the amount of teams we got (NA 10 EU 12) we did our best. Teams signing up for the Tournament and then not showing up for matches is really not the fault of the organiser. For example, the EU side had zero forfeits awarded. Sadly the NA side is a different story.. But like you said that who is left is here to play,.. I hope thats the case..
