Higher Fps?

anyone know how to get better frames per second? it seems mine cap out at 72. i've heard of people getting over 120.

my computer can handle it.
specs:
3.2ghz P4
4gb pc3200 ddr Ram
Radeon 9800 xt 256mb(with a new zalmans cooler that i installed.)

thats all that should matter, i think. if you need more specs let me know.

im hoping this would help with CS also, though i dont play that as much.

Holy crap it's DOD for god's sake. There must be a cap somewhere cause you should be getting like 200 FPS.

maxfps 72 is the setting you have now.
All you have to do is change it to a higher number. Type "maxfps 99" to get 99fps max. You can get higher, but your eyes only see up to 80 some fps.
