Everyone knows CDC won't run on a Mac... It's a Windows Application (and it was made using Microsoft's Visual Studio/Visual Basic.)

Anyway...

There is a program for the Mac that can emulate windows.

Now, wouldn't it be possible for CDC to run under that emulator, allowing Mac players to use it, and therefore be able to properly play TWL matches?

It would depend on how well the software could emulate the Windows API. CDC makes extensive use of it.
Wouldn't it also depend on the fact that the mac-version prolly has different files
use the emulator to run the windows version of AAO.

Hehe, of course they'd be different files. But it wouldn't be too hard at all to add mac support to the CD servers.
If you use windows you would validate with 1 set of checksums etc..., and if you use MAC/Linux another set.

It's the CD Client that I'm concerned with. Like how much WinAPI support does the emulator have?

Does the Windows emulator / winapi program which is being used support everything needed to run AA?
I think the emulator has good API support.

We need someone to test this... any CDC beta testers got a Mac avaliable?
