Could a firewall be a problem?

no, because i have turned it off and still get the error.
We now have at least 1 player getting this error as well. He has done a fresh format and I walked him through step-by-step as far as formatting, installing his OS, running all windows xp updates/service packs, installing AA, installing CDC, etc.

He produces the same error logs as those stated above. I made sure he was running nothing but aa and CDC from a clean OS and still was having this problem. We made sure that the built-in firewall was off as well.
OK, let's try this.

Open up your Internet Explorer's (whether you use it or not) and click the Help-About Internet Explorer menu.

A.) What version does it say?
B.) What Cipher Strength is it listing?

WTF --- ignore the http:// part...
Here is my info:
Version: http://6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633
Cipher Strength: 128-bit
Update Versions:SP1;Q324924;Q810847;Q813951;Q330994;Q813489;Q818529;
Any word on this ??
Not yet. You guys are showing me exactly what should be there. I originally thought it may have been a problem with the "encryption pack" that you guys had installed, but you do have the 128 bit version so that's not it.
Any news?
yeah i hope they found problem...
Please help out with this problem, CDC 1.8 hasn't done anything. As of now, I am forced to not let my best player in matches.

Thanks,
terminator
Oh, who's your best player?
