Problem with CDC/Ventrilo

Whenever I get the in game "Disconnected from CDC Server" or use the CDC Playerlist, my ventrilo session messes up(i.e. every time someone talks its all staticy). I can fix it by closing and reopening ventrilo. I have the latest sound/video/directx drivers, and a fully patched windowsXP. My sound card is a Sound Blaster MP3/512.. anyone else have this problem?
I haven't heard of anything.

But, I could see where it may get staticy on you while any of those in game messages are displayed.

Displaying the in-game messages is very resource intensive.
It's not a DirectX hook and while being displayed it's fighting with the game itself to be displayed.

That's also why I don't have anything being displayed all the time.

Hey, hit me up on ICQ. Our squad uses CDC and Ventrilo. We have only had a couple of issues. Oh, and BTW check for new drivers and your squad may want to upgrade to Ventrilo 2.1.
