Curious about advertising CDC

I saw it mentioned here that we don't want the CDC out in the masses. I noticed that it's listed at AAfiles, albeit not the newest version.

The point of keeping it a "secret", I thought, was not to make it a hacker target. Since it's on the homepage of AAfiles, I'd say most are aware now.

I think CDC is well know by most squads and perhaps also hackers.

having an old version on AAFiles is of little use to anyone tho

The fact that the old version is on there now, doesn't mean a current one won't be there later on. Was that a double negative? Anyway, it's everywhere I look, AA forums, army ops europe forums, aa files etc etc....I'd say anyone that plays AA knows about it, and not just the squads.

Probably hackers won't bother with it because it's just for ladders. I guess that answers my own question

As long as its not an 'official' program used on 'official' servers the hackers will leave it alone.
