1.2 Alt-Pageup Problem

I started and connected fine using US Primary. Hit Alt-Pageup, saw nothing, Alt-pagedown, nothing, Alt-pageup, waited about a minute still nothing. Closed the game and voila, there it is, upper left hand corner. I may have this wrong, but my impression was it would be visible in game without minimizing AA. Specs are as follows:
Windows XP, Athlon 1900, Soyo Kt-333, G4 4600, I am using the latest recommended drivers which i think is 30.82 for the G4. If I have the wrong impression let me know. Thanx

No, you're supposed to be able to see it. It flickers but is readable. Hopefully Hydra will be able to tell you why you can't.

Does this happen consistently or was this a one time deal?

your version of Nvidia driver is old, you would most likely get a boost by upgrading to the latest version from http://www.nvidia.com

Not sure thats your problem tho.

I get a problem where I get disconnected from CD server when trying to alt-pgup

Just for info it was in fact the driver version that caused the problem. Updated to the latest set and problem solved.

i should have the latest drivers, I uninstalled and installed 1.2
