Can we use CDS to recruit?

I would like to be able to use CDS to check people wishing to join our clan. This would consist only of having them join the server once or twice, so that we can see their system is clean. Since we are recruiting people to play in TWL matches, I think this would be a good first step in not allowing cheats to join in the first place. I wouldn't think that this limited use would overload the servers. But if it would disrupt the system too much, then I don't want to do it.

as long as you make them join a private password protected server I don't have an issue with it.
