CDC can't find User.ini??

Seriously I HATE this program with a passion... you think after this many years someone could have fixed it, someone would have come up with a new program, or they would have dropped it anyways...


Okay, now that I feel better... seriously how do i fix this? I have a match tonight and can't join thru CDC because it says my base folder can't be found...

Okay, so I think I may have fixed the base folder issue... but now it says I must be logged on as an adminstrator for the computer?? Are you serious??

Right Click on program and click on "Run as Adminstrator".

I'm not seeing an option anywhere that says "run as adminstrator".

Okay, so I found it in properties click it and go figure... CDC isn't working and its still asking me to make sure CDC is being run with adminstrator privs...

What Windows are you running? 32bit/64bit?

64bit, I downloaded the CDC64.zip as well.

Anybody have any idea how to get this pos working?

Is the account you're using an Administrator account?

A long shot maybe but try going directly to the folder where the CDC is installed. By default its at Program Files\Kustom Appz Software\TWL AA Cheat Deterrent Client

There you see the AACDC executable. Right click on it and choose "Run as Administrator".

What anti-virus software are you using? I found a thread where a player has similar issues as you, he was using AVG and it was the cause of CDC not working. See this thread: /forums/showthread.asp?forumid=54&threadid=454048

Also did you ever get to a point where CDC asks you to update itself? If so, when the update is done be sure to apply the 64bit patch again.

I've used AVG before and I had to completely uninstall it (not disable) to get it to work

Hmm... not good AVG is what I use. A guy in my clan told me he had to disable AVG to run CDC but didn't say anything about uninstalling it. Another guy still uses it and got it to work I'm pretty sure.
