Okay, I have windows 7 ultimate, 64bit. I installed CDC and patched it and reinstalled it and patched it again and yet I still have discrepancies in my folder. It says I'm missing 98 files in my aao folder, even though I checked and saw that I have all 98 files in my folder.... Can someone help me and explain this?
The problem is sometimes AA doesn't download all the files into the proper folder but still knows where it put them to use them when needed. CDC doesn't know where they are, if you post your xfire name in this thread and tell me the EXACT file you are missing I can send it to you, or anyone who you know just tell them the file name and the folder it's missing from, usually a texture file missing etc. Once you've done this, they go to their AA game file and find the folder that the file is in and just send it to you, you accept and drag and drop the file into the folder that it belongs it. once you've done this your CDC will run fine.
