It is hard to say. A lot of people have been using CDC with Vista from the start, while others are still having trouble with it.
It is a matter of how your software and hardware combinations. Simply try installing it and, if you experience any problems then post in these forums for support. If it works, then it works.
Remember. Always try before posting things like these, because this is very close to spam. xD Not to be rude or anything.
It works. Be sure to grab the Vista64 CDC download from the downloads section. Follow the directions and CDC will work with Vista64. You will need the full CDC installed first before you apply the Vista64 CDC files. Post edited by (1VB)Gunns at 11/19/2008 2:19:50 PM

Hello guys,, im having the same problems, i have gone through all of your solutions and they have gotten me a ways but now i have one that no one else posted. When i try to join the server for it to up load AA . it says i need to be logged in as an administrator.. and I AM! .. plz help any ideas.??.
Look I have done every thing on this page from the aaoloader, to getting rid of AVG.....CDC64 bit version runs fine ....but then says needs update! As soon as I update the damn thing I am back to where I started " must run as admin". I have UAC turned off(I am the administrator...always), done the aaocleaner, unistalled AVG,uninstalled cdc, dl the distribution.exe, deleted the AAloader.exe file, linked the ArmyOps.exe, reinstalled FullAACDC , then CDCVista64 , all is unblocked from firewalls.......even if I right click the program and select Run as Administrator the damn thing still says " must run as admin". Only after the CDC update it fails.
I have done everything you have asked and spent a week doing multi combinations trying to get this working...unistalling and reinstalling programs time after time after time.Sorry if I come across a lil rude but I am frustrated and at wits end!!......I have asked for help from friends who are very experience and literate PC users who cant wrap their head around it either....it just seems 64bit users are damned atm!!
Please tell me I am a noob and give me a rundown on how to get this shizzle runnig properly!!
Thanks all
DV
I have also run CDC....when I recieve the "ensure CDC is run with Administrator priveledge" message, I have opened task manager ....gone to processes and the CDC process is named "AACDC.exe *32"......In properties it states That it IS running as administrator. I have tried running it all in compatibility mode windows XP (sp2)....to no avail there either!
OK I HAVE VISTA 64 ULTIMATE I HAD CDC RUNNING BUT NOW I WENT AND CHECKED IT BECAUSE I HAVE A MATCH COMING UP IT SAY THAT (COULD NOT START THE VISTA STUB "CLIENT.EXE") THEN WHEN I HIT OK I SAYS (PLEASE ENSURE THAT CDC IS RUNNING WITH ADMIN PRIV) AND EVERYWHERE I LOOK I HAVE RUN AS ADMIN ON CAN NOT FIGURE OUT WHY IT DID THAT SOMEONE PLEASE HELP I HAVE A MATCH ON THE 4VS4 CSAR TOMORROW AT 9 PM EST

All you have to do is install the CDC as normal once installed download the 64 bit upgrade. Once downloaded more the contents of the 64 bit file into the kustom apps folder and replace any existing files when prompted
Windows 7 64bit Pro. I have dl'd and patched. Set to run as admin by all users. It loaded correctly and updated the 50 patch. Then I get a screen that tell me I'm missing 70 friggin files. WTF? I could understand 1 or 2...but 70? It says I have 28 files and the server has 98. HELP!
