Vista Administrator Priveledges

Newest version of CDC wont start due to Admin Privs not activated. Trouble is... they are. I normally run my Vista computer without useraccess enabled, so everything runs in admin mode including CDC. After this surprise tonight, I tried all manner of things to convince the program that Admin Priveledges are activated - to no avail. I'll keep trying more things but it sure looks like something is screwed here. Just to clarify, CDC was working fine with 1.6.0.53 but doesn't get past the window that says "Please ensure that CDC is running with Administrator Priviledge" after the update to 1.6.0.54. I have tried individual program settings and master settings. I don't think I've missed anything.

On a related note, can we get the CDC updates announced so we can verify everything is working before finding out they don't work at match time?

CDC does not work with Vista 64.
Did what was said in the thread, uninstalled, reinstalled and the patched update. Worked 1 time after closing and reopening same problem as before.

It used to.

I have been using it on Vista 64 bit for 3 months without any problems.

What did you change to make it stop working?

Mine stopped working after the last cdc update that was done prior to a match. During that match I wasn't the only 1 that had the problem so we agreed to go w/o on Vista machines. Last night did what was said in the thread about uninstalled and so on. Stated it up once and it ran throught the diag. fine and opened AA, the match was about 15 min. off so I closed it. When I went to reopen and log on I got the same damn message as I started with.

TWL crew we need to get this BS in line. I know you all can't help that MS is fkdup but there has to be a way around this.

but as pointed out in another thread, Hyrda doesnt have Fista 64bit and can't code for it, so basically as 64bit users we are bent over with dinner first

Sorry Abrams65, no disrespect intended, but you are missing the point (my point/question at least).
CDC use to work FINE in Vista 64 bit, no trouble, no problems. I have been running CDC since 6/1/2007.
The question is what changed to cause it to stop working?

Something changed, and it could be something as simple as a change like CDC app is trying to read/write to a location that is prohibited.

BTW: If the 64 bit OSs could not run 32 bit apps, we (64 bit users) would not even be running AA.
I am pretty sure 99+% of the apps I am currently running were NOT developed on a Vista 64 bit system.

The contents of the error files:
Tab7A80.tmp: RUNASADMIN
appcompat.txt:
(sorry I had to add a space to the "<" to "< " to get this to show up)

Yea i have the same problem with 32 bit Vista
well not allowing 64bit vista use users play seems retarded. i mean aa is small enough, now all you need to do is disallow another portion of the aa communityto not play....oh wait....

some executive decisions must be made.
