I posted on here, so i could have a person from twl reply and directly state my problem because i have not been able to discover a problem. I will put what i said in the error file, but i would like it if I could have someone plz directly state the problem if at all possible. thx.
You don't put anything into the error file. You copy and paste the text from the error file into your post so we can read what CDC reported when it failed.

Have you looked here? there may be an answer for you.

when people are trying to help you, do not bash them, they are trying to help, they could have just ignored you. Alot of the guys who respond here, while they may not be on staff, they all use CDC and may have had the issue, if you give them the info needed to work with.

Vasilia is a retired admin(see under his name), so he may not still be staff, but he once was and does a good job helping people.

originally, it wasnt connected to the right file(fixed) then i redownloaded cdc and americas army several times, but it still wont work. I even had an old verson updated but it wont work. Everytime i open cdc it says ip :65.65.65.65 and then i will change that to the correct ip and put in password, hit refresh and primary then verify system, then it just shuts down..? doesnt say anything other than valid ini check and i click yes and it then just disappears. i cannot figure out why..can any of u?..o and Protagonist orignially i didnt have the error file and my brother sent it to me, so id have it...cdc still did work. Heres what it says:1/9/2005 7:16:07 PM : Using commandline : "CProgram Files\America's Army\System\ArmyOps.exe" 66.55.137.10:1716?password=twl

rip was one i tried, but didnt work
*cdc still didn't work*
anyone know y?
same prob here.
but in my case, cdc didnt produce an error log.
When it disappears on you, can you bring up TasK Manager and see if AACDC is in the list. This will let us know if CDC is just completely shutting down on you, or if it's still running but just hidden.

Try checking your Windows Event Log, under the Application section, to see if the reason it's dying on you shows up there.

to view the windows event log
right click on my computer
goto manage
click on event viewer
then look for red X's in the application log
what do i look for, there are a few errors but none look like they refer to cdc?
look for timestamps that are at the same time you ran cdc
no, no errors coinside with times i used cdc...
in fleming's post ^ they talk about 429 ActiveX would this help in my case?
is there anything new? has anyone found out my problem?
