I have a job. I am 16 years old. I can choose between spending my money on a girlfriend, or, a Tribes2 server. I think you all know what obviously is the best choice.

List your favorite hosts for servers. I'm not made of money, but I do get minimum wage. I doubt I'd be able to afford a capture the flag server. Besides, I don't see many base ctf people playing anyways.

So, at the moment I am shooting for a Arena/Duel/Team Gauntlet server.

This server will be a little bit different from all the others, here's my idea:

- The server will not be named after the newest Arena tribe that comes out onto the ladders

- Adminship on the server will be given out to no one.

- Custom map rotation

- Server will have it's own teamspeak.

- Will be set so you cannot change the mission from Arena (No more, change to duel, change to team gauntlet voting wars)

- No one will be banned, or kicked from the server.

- No more telling people to leave at peak times for a match, if there are people in the server playing, I don't care if it's one afk person, a match will not be held. Players that are here to pub are my top priority.

Those are the differences from this server, compared to others. Now I need a list of your favorite hosts. If I can get a really good host to get a guarantee a low-pinging server I will get a central server.

Also, what admin mod do you prefer? I was thinking Tricon2, but it's still open to debate.

lots of empty servers out there ... save your money for something more practical.

But if you insist on wasting money, I'll host a server for ya. lol

first, giving out admin to no one may not be the best idea unless u are on all the time. This is because the best thing about pubs is having pu (pick-ups), and u can't do this without admin.

second, u can add any maps u want and make the rotation any way u want, but make sure only server-side maps are in the rotation. Also, still have the regular maps from the ladder.

third, if u generally won't have matches held in it, then don't bother gettin a ts server.

fourth and finally, make the server size 18. This may seem like a lot, but very rarely will a server actually stay at a 9v9 for very long, and when it comes to pu's, having lotsa people makes it that much more fun.

This is me speakin from experience. If u don't have people in ur server then it will be a waste of ur money. Gettin a central server is key so that both west and east players can play. Tricon2 is probably the best admin mod to get.

Wut i suggested above is what u pretty much need in order to make people come. Obviously can't force u to do any of these things, but i can tell u that doin these will make ur server one of the popular ones.
