Ok, my rookie year of tribes has finaly come to an end...I am celebrating by throwing a virtual party!!!Everyone is invited!!! I'd like to celebrate with all my T2 friends and Foes..I hope no bad people come, but if they do just be aware that i have God-Epic- watching the front door and N$anity at the back door with strider..that combination of muscular builds with leet street kickboxing skills and egos should be enough to handle any problems..SO should be along shortly to get your drink or special requests..
In the mean time id like to share some of the things ive learned in the past year along with some of the things T2 has done for me in generaL..
20 THINGS THAT T2 HAS DONE FOR/TAUGHT ME:
1. Introduced me to a great online family in the SoUP and OAC guys.
2. Made me friends not only all over the country, but around the world.. I am proud to say that i know have friends from Australia, Japan, and *cough*Canada..
3. Taught me to be moderately competant in computer usage..I bought my comp just for T2..
4. Gave me a beer belly..I went from a previously very solid 6'0 200 lb. to a kinda squishy 220 lbs..
5. Taught me that T2 is bad for relationships. Ive pissed off prolly every one of my friends and some girls because of my T2 dedication..i know of a couple peeps that have seriously strained their marriage because of this game.
6. It has reinforced the fact that dedication and discipline are rewarding..I am proud of every aspect of T2 that i have become proficient at BECAUSE they are hard to learn..remember how hard it was to navigate the kata base at first? now i can shrike jump - nade ld- disc hof- grab flag -and dodge turrets on the way out like butter..ahh so satisfying..
7. Arguing on the internet is futile.
8. type and chat messages does not carry sarcasm or humor very well. Some of the peeps i hated in game or on the forums turned out to be OK peeps when i spoke with them on TS.
9. that being said^^ Rags is still a douchebag..
10. Skipping work to play T2 matches is a bad idea.
11. No sniping on mino if Devo is there.
12. careful on Beach blitz or you may lose your mpb into some invisible black hole.
13. Most peeps I thought might be cheaters when i started just turned out to be really good..this has become more apparent as my skills have improved and i can see HOW they were accomplishing said tasks..This goes with the obvious exception of spy's hacklance..
13. speaking of lances..stay away from ham and spy when it comes to them.
14. Osniping should be allowed..
15. dstacking sux and ruins the ctf gameplay
16. you cannot score with all defense
17. points, although fun at times, promote dstacking and are no good for the flow of ctf.. (see 15 & 16)
18. soccerwear is still the undisputed king of shrikes in my mind..ps FU soccer..ill kill myself every time like the llama i am..
19. tuanting is for NooBs..
20. I am a NoOb..
anyways, thanks to all that have made the last year so much fun for me..and thanks to those that have been asshats, too, as you have given me the drive to improve..All in all, its a pretty cool community and i appreciate yall for takin me in....now...come to my party ..I got whatever your heart may desire!!!just give me a : par_y: to join in ..thanks..man im a nerd..
