I dun'no. SeaDawg discussed the matter with me. Sounds like the issues are well addressed in both the ladder-specific and general rule sets provided by TWL and TWL RTCW. BTW, I recommended he send his demos and log file to the upper admin levels for review; there were some serious conduct issues involved in this match, imo.

No wonder everyone thinks TWL is a joke league, when u have Nazi admins here. And btw for your information, there was no match, so how can there be "serious conduct issues"?

Also can I remind the so-called Admins that this is a just a game, and that minor details like having someone on a roster before a challenge is pretty pathetic. Yes, rules are in place for a reasons, but its not like any of the admins here have not broken any of them.... remeber that before you go and enforce minor detail rules like this.

Anyhow, I expected more from SS, but looks like they are a joke just like the rest of this league...

If you guys would of been a little friendlier maybe SS would not of wanted the rules enforced as much and allowed you to play.But you wanted everything your way and thats not going to happen when you're way is not supported by the rules. As an admin i dont have a choice but to enforce the rules as written.

Saleem you a have choice - you can try to become an admin yourself and see what it is really like or go join another community and see if you can live it to their rules. You're choice.

The rules are ther for a real simple reason - to keep things fair. If SS was breaking any rules i would of ruled in your favor and would of been a GOD in your book. But things didnt go your way so now i'm a nazi of some kind.

At DSB if we have a new member we always ask if he can play. If they so no then its no. We will play short or forfeit as you did but we dont go to the forums and complain about the admins or the rules. Our team actually took the time and read the rules before we joined long ago.

as for serious conduct issues. LMAO. Does TWL now control our servers that we pay for and RTCW teamplay as a whole? Because if you remember SeaDawg and yes please post all demos, log files etc., all of NiteSwine's "serious conduct issues" happened after the forfeit and after you had any admin rights what so ever to even be on the server representing TWL. I also thought that SS was going to give us a good match and visaversa...our weekly scrims that are played are always fun. However this time I think fear played a factor. Regardless rules are rules...and even though I disagree with the SS decision to not let one of our guys play... I can see that it was a valid point...if the tables were turned i might also want to keep the number 1 spot...oh but wait we didnt do that in our last match with accurate we let them use players that recently joined because whats the point lets see who is better...hense the forfeit agreement tonight and scrim challenge...isnt that the true spirit here...to really see if the opposing clan is better...
so..who cares right? thats what we finally decided and said lets forfeit the TWL match and just play for fun, yanno since we are all here ready to play...cmon ss whos better....i guess ss didnt want to fight tonight...
i almost feel as if we won...as for doing anything wrong...as soon as the TWL match was deemed a forfeit the TWL representative has no authority and should have left the server if he didnt like what was going on....

seadawg lets clear some stuff up...it was our decision to forfeit the match...it wasn't ruled in favor or against us...i dont know where you even think that there was any sort of admin decision here, i simply asked what the rules were about roster changes...we were not upset with you at any point because you are, like you said, there to enforce the rules as written. I asked three times if SS's decision was to not let saleen play after they said no, he cannot play i forfeited the match....at that time...since this was no longer a TWL event I questioned why you were still talking, and why you were even there. At that time I also asked SS if they wanted to scrim and they said yes....and I asked you to leave....

Seadung, I really dont care about what happened or the rules surrounding it. Perhaps teams shouldn't be such sticklers for minor rules and play the game instead of hiding behind rules...

who is to say that the roster rule is a "minor" rule? i thought all the rules were the same... they were made and you abide by them :
every time a clan breaks a rule it's a "minor" rule. oh i had the wrong guid... i wasn't on the roster... those are minor rules though. i thought the point of the roster and guid logging was to eliminate smurfing?

then again, it's a ladder. wait around a little bit and challenge ss or whoever has the #1 rung at the time.

One thing I've noticed lately is teams complaining every time a decision goes the other way. You knew you were flaunting the rules. Don't come whine to us when you get called out for it.

If you don't like the rule then go. If you disrespect admins, you can and will be removed from TWL competition. If you have a problem with a particular ruling, then please find either myself (I was out last night) or ND80 or Zed, or even one of the other game admins. Mich knows Wolf well enough to make a call on these things. Trust me, if you don't like SeaDawg's call on treating admins badly, you're gonna REALLY hate Mich. It's a pet peeve of mine that if you disrespect an admin, I will personally ban you. I don't care if the match was already over. Keep your fingers quiet .

Y'all have to get over this. It's obvious that some teams are going to be stricter about allowing players in a match than others. It is in your best interest to check FIRST, and if the other team says no, then DEAL WITH IT. If you come to us complaining that a particular team didn't let you slide on a rule violation, your complaint will fall on deaf ears.

Plastik - SS asked me to join the server to make sure any problems we resolved before the match was started. Yes YOU made my job very easy and YOU made all the decisions. But your fellow teammates saying that SS has an admin in their pocket was inapropiate. Your fellow teammates telling me to get the fuck out or trying to kick me instead of asking me to leave was inapropiate. Just to let you know and i know you wont believe me but i was trying at the time to get SS to agree to rescheldule the match but after you teammates actions i quit trying to do that.

is this the part where we get 20 lashes, soap in the mouth, or a ruler on the knuckles. rofl.

This is the first time I have had a problem with an admin decision. I do understand that by the rules it is correct and I do not have a beef with the decision. I am just extremely frustrated with SS and there horrible attitude towards playing matchs that might cost them their ladder spot. Seadawg being there seemed like SS was trying to find anyway possible to get us to not play them or have us forfeit.

Juicer the easiest solution to this problem is challenge them again and make sure not to give them any reason to call on me or any admin. It is a ladder you can take as many shots at them as you wish as long as there is 7 days in between. Both teams seem like the want a fair fight so the next chance you get challenge them again. If DSB has no match on that night i will even offer it for a neutral battlefield,just let me know.

Plastik - ruler across the knuckles will surfice.
