Asus V8420 deluxe GF4 ti4200 128MB DDR

As preiously mentioned if your system board and or ram are old and/ or slow, the bottleneck will just get worse.

i have a P4 2.53ghz processor
ASUS V9520 Geforce FX 5200 128MB graphics card
512MB DDR ram
and my games work great
If it helps you...

P4 2.3ghz
512 meg RAM
GeForce 4600ti 128 meg RAM
Tutrle Beach Santa Cruz audio card

Dentonator 4403 video drivers
Dx9a
WinXP

Runs great

I'd say more ram (it's cheap!) and at least 64meg video card will improve it lots for you.
voodoo is made for glide which was big years ago. VC i think is running open gl ??

geforce 3 ti 200
512 mb pc 133
atholon 1800 xp

drivers nvidia 44.30

i get about 33 fps givie or take about 5 last time i checked.
i am curious as to what other people get for their fps??

are you wanting super fps or just decent? if decent to good fps i would look into a gf 4 4200 or a gf3, not the mx, save some money till the next generation of games come out that will need a much better card than what is currently availble without gouging your wallet.
I'm guessing VC is Direct X - hence the windows only platform...

just a guess - haven't read anything about it though.

BM
Gainward Ti4600

But listen to Dragon Star, a new video card may not be your best improvement
i don't think direct X, last fps i played on direct X was ghost recon and it was pretty shity graphic wise.
yea its dx. if you turn on that little dx water mark in your geforce properties. it shows up in this game
learn something new every day
i use a Radeon 9000 Pro, and i dont lag.
