there gonna be any way for people to observe matches? like, for shoutcasting and stuff?

i would really like to listen to shoutcasts of these matches, could be fun.
Feh... TAKE2 Interactive. Gang of loose dick silly bitches that they are, they've NEVER produced a multiplayer game worthy of the CD's they're burnt on. What the fuck were they smoking when picked up on Vietcong? Obviously some quality shit, but it's a damn shame that they were too stupid to produce it into the game it deserves to be. The developers (Pterodon) just needed the right direction, and TAKE2 abso-fucking-lutley dropped the burrito on this one.

Just like to add how nice it is to post without a FUCKING LANGUAGE FILTER!!! My posts over @ gathering.com take 90% longer to write and end up being half as meaningful.

Needed to get that off my chest.

Don't take me for being naive and angry at the game when I say this because I know Vietcong has much potential and so do the rest of you guys. I feel the same way as Freedom. They had a good thing going in the development and pee’d on it. The only thing that can correct this now is an “ala Battlefield 1942”, a game plagued with framerate issues and lack functionality and brought back to not only playability but an array of installments for commands and developing to make it one of the most played games currently. *PTX* "may" leave Vietcong for another established game and wait for another try because of the lack of thought and preparedness toward this game. This isn’t the first time the developers have heard it and not the first time we gamers and left a game for such reasons. For now and a short time into the future, we wait and see how the game pans out, then my group will decide on whether to continue in Vietcong or leave. I hear the sounds of Men Of Valor: Vietnam creeping up.

Ive read that the win32 client will allow some prety substantial control via console...

That and the next flurry of patches are going to add more than their share of features.....

Of course.....there is always...the patch in the future.

You saw how fucking long it took Dice to convince EA to get their head out of their ass and let them support the game instead of being pushed to slave away another expansion
