"What the hell is this?" "Its a Peace symbol sir." "What does your helmet say?" "Born to kill sir." "What the hell is going on?" "I guess I was just trying to point out the duality of mankind."

Looks awesome Enigma!
Can't wait! the only thing I had difficulty understanding is the rest time.
Rest time is time I determine and renders my team inactive for that time?

Also, how many matches must we play per month / week?
I mean, on a wednesday, can I schedule a match for the following Saturday?

Anyway, let me know...looks great.
Sounds good nigma if u got a problem i can help PS game ist out yet here

I just got done reading the rules and everything looks good exept for I'm confused about the sides and maps....In the very beginning of the rules "ladder concept", It sounds like this : the first 2 maps are randomly selected, the defending team picks the third map and the sides on the first 2 maps....Then the attacking team gets to pick the side on the 3rd map...

Then further down in the rules there is "side selection"... To me this part sounds like this : The defending team relays the maps and sides they chose for the 1st and 2nd maps and the attacking team relays what map and side they chose for the 3rd map? If so that totally contradicts what the "ladder concept" says....

Am I just getting a different perception from reading that than you guys or does it seem messed up to you 2? Enigma, Can you please re-read and let me know if I'm right? Or if I'm wrong can you please explain it alittle better for me? Thanks in advance....I appreciate all the hard work your putting into this ladder....It is gonna be sweet when it gets goin!!!

What I have in my heart I'll take to my grave!

1. im still pushing for 10-12 people per team.

2. Stream should be offered in RW and CTF modes for more map/strat possibilities.

3. Im going to bed but ill read through more throughly tommorrow and get some better input.

Rest is an option your team has when you know you will now be prepared to play matches. This is frequently used during times like spring break or around the beginning or end of school when many players are in transit from college. You get 7 days of rest every quarter. You can only go on rest if you have no pending challenges.

Rest is not used very often, but its there if you need it. There is no minimum or maximum requirement for matches to be played. Just keep relatively active and all is good.

Here's how it's gonn work....i'll re-read the rules to make sure I worded it correctly. After all that typing things become a blurr after a while...lol

-The Defending team picks the first 2 maps that will be played in the match. They also pick the side they want to play on the first map. They will automatically play the oppososite side on the 2nd map (this way both teams play VC and US sides)

-The Attacking team picks the map that will be played for the tie breaker, and they choose what side they want to play for the tie breaker.

*I'll go over the rules once I get to work...I'm sure I'll have some extra time to re-read them..sorry for any confusion. Does that clear it up a litle?

That dosent make sense. The defending team only picks one map side?
Thanks Enigma^X.....That cleared it up for me...but thats not what the rules say so you might want to edit them....Thanks again!
What doesn't make sense satan? The defending team picks the first two maps, and they pick what side they want to play first...on the first map. Then on the second map they play the opposite of what they picked on the first map.

For example, if your team is defending and the first map is stream...u say we want to play US on the first map.

Let's say the 2nd map is ambush, your team will play VC on the 2nd map....this insures both teams will play each side.

Cleared up at all??

thx polaris
Rest: To start were 8 on the rung so once the ladder starts we have to immediately challenge someone and play a match (how soon does that match have to be scheduled after the challenge and acceptence?) Then when match is over do we have to immediately schedule another match or will we be charged rest days?

Bugs in some of TWL Maps: In STORM ive had it happen to me not sure if anyone else, The bunker up front if u lay down or try to crawl in u fall into the sky, seems like a hole is there on the floor of the bunker up front by the sandbags

Stream: Spawning in this map I and others have spawned in the sky which in fact will then kill you

(are we ready to play these two maps in matches yet before next patch? Dont get me wrong I love the Storm map

Starting Games: Something that wasnt addressed in the rules, when you start a game not everyone starts at the same time, when you join the game it starts so how will this be worked out? In matches this can mean a big difference in setting up a defense or gaining ground towards capturing a flag in CTF. Just curious on how this will be worked out.

Limits: Something else not addressed, will there be limits set on soldier classes in matches. Would hate to see these things turn into a sniper fest or Airstrike fest. I know some of the clans that have signed up originally our some good ppl that know tatics and this wouldnt happen. Just think that limits need to be set

Names Registered: Almost forget , stated in rules is that u need to play with the name u signed up with. Our clans has fun on the rank and medals our guys are getting promoted all the time. Will ranks in front of their names be ok?

No because it still happens that the attacker picks 2 of the 3 map sides which are usually more important than the maps themselfs. Leaving the defender to "hope n pray" the 2nd map they pick they get lucky and the attacker chooses the opposite side they want. So even though it seems the defender is choosing more theyre really not. See what im getting at?

Maby attacker chooses 1 map (defender chooses side) defender chooses 1 map (attacker chooses side) Tiebreaker is random map (defender chooses side).
I do have a question about the rules.

We have 4 RW maps and only 2 CTF maps to choose from? Why not make stream a CTF map or NVA Base? so that we have 3 and 3...

BM
Use both versions of the maps IMO it adds more variety.
@Satan: I'm just listing off whats in the rules also I think STREAM RW is going to be pretty hard 8v8...I think there is 6 flags...hard to protect 6 flags when you only have 8 people.

I agree with Satan: though if the map can be played in either CTF or RW why not let it be an option?

BM
agreed on both accounts BM.

Enigma why dont we do rotating team sizes per map until we get a patch. Like 10-12 on stream, bahra, ect and the 6-8 on the smaller maps this would allow for different tacticts and more maps. Especially if we use the maps with CTF & RW as 2 maps each. I dont think it would be too hard to get a few of the team leaders on Teamspeak togeather to work something out quickly.
I also agree with playing maps ctf or rw.....or if not that atleast making Stream a ctf so 3 ctf and 3 rw...
I still think that there is som issues that needs atention.
1. Conserning the mappacks: i wanna see ATG(pilot) on stream in here; NVA and Stream should also be CTF
2. Conserning RW; should the team with most flags with the round ???? hell yes
3. General I think defending team has too much preinfluence on the game outcome.... we must not forget that this is a US and EU ladder ...

Still a relly Nice job ...

TheEdge|RedHat
Rotating team sizes are not possible, has to be a set standard for the ladder. ATG and NavBase were not included to to player size limit on the maps.

I can see if I can get CTF and RW as an option on the maps it applies to if everyone would prefer that.

Well I would agree on that CTF and RW rotation.

What about the RW strategy as it stands now? only when you have conquered all flags you win? I would like to see most flags be an issue here.. More times then not I see one side dominate but due to long walking distance not really make it to the last flag.

I'de be willing to get together after the first couple of matches and discuss how to make the ladder better.
I would agree as well, I'm always up for discussion/suggestions. I don't see any issues with RW, you have to capture all flags to win the map. That's the way the game was designed, and it's possible. That's what team practices are for, so each group know's which flag their going for...I don't think it will be an issue. I think the most flags on an RW map might be like 5 or so, so your team has 20 minute to capture no more then 5 flags...I don't think that's to much to ask. It happens in pub servers ALL the time...so using team work and real-time communication within your clan, you should have no problems doing this.

If it's an issue after a few matches I'm definatly willing to make changes. This ladder is for you guys, so we want to tailor it that way (it has to meet TWL standards as well).
