Goob from Team ?WHO? has died from cancer at the very young age of 23. We are holding a memorial for him in the Fortius Gaming ventrilo tonight at 10PM EST. His family has been pleasantly surprised at how many friends Goob had online and they will be attending the memorial.

Anyone that played with or against him is welcome to attend.

There is also a goodbye thread in the FG open discussion forum where people have been saying their goodbyes and/or telling stories about him. The posts are going to be transferred to a memorial site that is currently under construction.

That thread is HERE

Its tragic to hear of the loss of Goob. He was a pleasant person, and a great gamer. My condolences go out to his family.

Goob was a great guy and gamer. He gave this old gamer the best advice when I was feeling down about losing a match, and ready to call it quits. He told me "get back in there and never give up in this the other team never truely defeats you". What wise words for a guy so young, He will be missed by many in the gaming community. I was blessed to have known him and proud to call him friend.
see ya goob
