From this day forward, i proudly announce that I HATE PANDORA. it has only worked for me twice. now when all the important matches come up, i cant play in them because apparently the servers that the matches are played on dont have pandora running, or so it says. and what im proposing is that when DMW2 comes out, please abandon pandora 1.0.6 ASAP. until then pandora is dead to me.
I think pandora has been a great anti cheat prog. Even with all the stuff bout bypasses it still seems that the pandora mathes feel clean to me. _____________
All anticheats have their issues. Some more public than others. Admins are in contact with the creators of DMW. We have been waiting for this to come out of beta so we can make a final determiantion on the best route to go. ____________________________________________________________________

try it with a direct connect if you're using a router, or forward the port... also make sure you're not running the server on the same IP as the client... Hrmmm... also make sure that the server is using the port your entering and that you are entering the iport in this format:

The problem you described IS typical of A) incorrect server setup or B) port incorrect or not entered C) the port being blocked by a firewall / proxy / nat device.
well. i never have my anti-virus prog running.
so firewall cant be the problem. and everyone else can connect to the server so its not the server setup.
ChromeBullet if you are running the server for Pandora and using Client at the same time, others will be able to connect but you cannot. That is quite common problem and easily solved. You have to go to your folder where pandora client is installed, and open the .ini file with notepad for line localserver or localhost you need to set that to 1, and then localip needs to be IP of your PC, let's say you have a router at home and your PC IP is 192.168.0.3 then that would be what you put. This would solve problem if you are running the server and trying to connect as well. Just remember that when you connecting to Pandora server not hosted by yourself, then you need to change the localserver back to 0 or you wont connect. I can provide exact details when I get back home but I believe I recall those settings well.

Well since its only you with problem where it says for you pandora server not running while everyone else can connect fine then you gonna have to sit till dmw2 is out. But you can try to reinstall windows or another partition and reinstall and try various things, I know I would.
