Playoff Seedings

pandora is hacked. forced SS are hacked. I hear there is a way to change the SS that shows up for a path shot (the path shot is worthless compared to the main dir shot anyway, but it seems as I am in the minority with this realization. Who would hide an antirecoil in a pak pk3 knowing that only a path shot was going to be taken?

I really doubt an OC is going to give spots away to another team. is he going to be on 2 teamspeaks at once? or call them on the phone?

I am sorry, but it is a really good idea. I hope TC saying it is a bad idea is not enough to quash the idea before it has a chance to be debated.

It is only for the playoffs. Do you have that little faith in the OCs? If so, what the hell are they in there for in the first place? Have they been giving away positions all along?

They could have been watching and hanging out on TS of their fav team if they wanted to do that all season. I doubt it happened and I hope you take this idea seriously.

there are only going to be a total of 8 games played this upcoming sunday. surely the admins themselves could also work the TS channels to ensure fairness and why not get OCs from teams that are out of the playoffs.

it can be done fairly. it would be a great step in making sure no funny business was going on. it is needed.

It doesn't matter if they are out of the playoffs or not, chances are they will be playing them sometime. The only way I see this being done safely is if it were done by admins who don't play this game anymore (TC, Solitude, etc.), but I don't expect these admins to have the time/want to do this.

Watching a match as an OC you can pick up just as much as listening to the match as well.

Who gives a crap if you hear them say "ok on the count of 3 we go in"

BUT YOU WILL HEAR THEM SAY - hey he is behind the church and know that no one has anyway of seeing that from where they are standing.

not wanting an OC to listen on a match really makes me wonder...everyone is in the same boat here. hate to tell you but there are only so many strats you can have on a map.

the rest is just player skills or hacks. i am out to stop the later.

you gotta be behind the effort to stop the hacking. if it doesn't beat you this round or in this league, it will eventually. i know my team cannot take it much longer...

I'm all for stopping hacks, but when it comes down to letting a member of another team in to know your strategy, thats too much, imo. Listening in on a team during a match, you are going to catch much more then just 'on the count of 3 we go out.' You are going to here 'We need a guy here, a guy here, etc.' I'm all for this as long as its not members of teams that compete here that listen in on the matches.

Have a team founder vote on it before or if this becomes a rule. Im totally against this. Pandora works for me just use pandora stop being so damn paranoid and move on whats the next step the OC's coming to our houses?

Actually yes. We are currently getting a list of locales on all OC's so that we can coordinate an effective system to dispatch them to random homes where players will be.

i wish. there would be some teams outta here for sure
i will stop being paranoid when an anti-cheat method comes out that cannot be hacked. having OCs listen is a great step while waiting for this to happen.

hey impact, not every team is as good as yours to beat people that hack. some of us need the playing field leveled to beat the cheats...

Imp does have a point. Strats are alot more than guy go here or there. In these high competive matches its the little things that teams do that make the difference. But that being said, I rather do anything possible to get a clean match, even if it means letting someone else in on our TS. I mean i remember when we played a clan 5 days after one of there players speced another match of ours on the same map. Yea that sucked but what are you going to do. I rather take that chance for a cleaner game than to loose to someone that cheated.

We rarely play teams that hack any longer since we request pandora in all our matches and get a 80% compliance. Just having a OC on TS is like letting them in the members only section on your forum.

so wut if somone dies and the guy says hes behind the chuch and the oc isnt paying attention and is like shit there cheating when in fact they aint.

also when u are specing somone you can see more then they can sometimes. and wut happenes if they person specing somone gets a glipse of a person that the player didnt and he tells the player that there a guy over there. the oc ginna misunderstand it for cheating???

to much problems would occur over it.

Proof that pandora is hacked? Forced SS = sh!t, has been hacked for the longest time, obviously.

scotty, those examples you posted would only be made by an OC who has no idea how to play mohaa.

no doubt, i am an OC that has been playin the game since its release.

I could easily tell the difference between a person using a wallhack to indicated positions or whether they saw or heard them there.

I mean, seriously, if you have an OC in a match they can obviously see your strats, i do not see any difference from what they can hear.

If your a good team you should be able to adapt and know if the OC is on that certain team your playing, throw a curve ball and switch strats up a little

Most of the OC's you can trust

you are kidding right? if you trust pandora as a cure all you are sadly in for a jolt. but i think you really know pandora can be gotten around.

i am glad at least some others are for the OC listening in on TS.

hope the admins act on it. only 8 games this week, 4, then 2 then 1. this would be the only week where you are stretching the ranks thin and if you stagger start the times you will have no problems at all.

8:30 and 10:30 starting times will solve a lot this week.

Anything can be 'hacked', Sniper. I know this. I just haven't seen a public release of any hacks (or anything to think I was being hacked against)... only seen speculations.

I hate teams that knock anti cheat shit just cause its supposably bypassed. If it is or isnt Id rather have it implamented then have nothing. Like having OC's on a channel are going to accomplish anything. I cant see where it helps in all honesty.

i hate teams that hack more than anything. and i am not knocking pandora. WTF man? IRA has used pandora from DAY 1. I am saying you need more than that.

It is a shame the ruling for listening in on TS has been shot down. I guess it will be the same old crap this upcoming week.

That being said, we will play the way this league wants it played as always.

For those that listened and did not just shut the idea down thanks. It will be the last time it is mentioned by me though.
