Attn League OC's

Note to all Legue OC's. Please reread the Pandora thread for current rules. I will be sending out an aditional email later this eveing with more specifics.

I also want to add that alot of OC's have dropped from the face of the earth. OC's scheduled don't show up with no word given.

If you didn't want the job you should not have signed up. We have had back to back weeks with almost half of our OC's not showing. If need be next season I will employ staff OC's to spec matches and those not able to have an OC will do without.

It states in the rules that every team needs to have an OC. What is understood is that the OC needs to be ACTIVE.

Teams who have OC's that do not show without any word will be penalized 3 points per occurance. I suggest that the captains follow up with their OC's or specify players that will show.

While I understand the importance of OCs, is it wise to force people to OC? I would almost rather not have an OC than get one who does not want to be there and/or has no clue what to do. Even when you have a competent OC, as we did last match, it can be "interesting" (No offense to our last OC but he must have taken 5 insta-ss in the 2nd half that he came in) I would hate to think what a "forced" (no pun intended) OC is capable of.

without pandora an OC helps, if you are worried about the OC and you are on your own server, you can prolly do the reloding and the restarting and then the "rcon say live" on your own, and just let the OC spectate, i see no harm in that.

and as for insta ss, they don't bother me at all, all players have them taken at the same time, i think OC's are getting better at taking them...

also, OC's can often prove valuable if there is a dispute!

Lysis, someone likes me. anyway, yeah, i was on the IRC channel, and its insane to see how many ppl came in late and asked for OC's. If every team that asked for one also provided one, everyone would have one. Maybe next season, i will buy 30 more computers and do every match at once, hmmm

This league was based on peers policing peers. Every team is required by the rules to have an OC. If the OC given changes his mind on doing the job then another volunteer from that team can take his place. If a team doesn't want to submit an OC at all then maybe they shouldn't have been in the league and won't get invited back.

Even with Pandora they are other issues that may come up that an OC can be helpful with. Having the OC's from each team should also quiet some of the fears of each other and promote better smarter play.

All founders got sent emails regarding the League and helpinh fine tune things. IF your are the founder plz take a few minutes. If your not hassle your founder to look it over.

Thing like this are helpful information on how matches are all preceeding. Some rules are going to be adjusted. I think alot of players will be happy to see the effort and determination to get things as best as possible for all.

I am back to active.....i am the OC for BHC....i missed my last 2 matches before yesterday because of family health issues.....sorry but that comes before this or anything else. Noone else on my team is up to speed on it and i wasnt around to do what i was supposed to. I am back to full activity for now and all is good......made my match last night
