MATCH DISPUTES:
Originally posted by: Geronimo

If a match is being disputed both teams need to adhere to a code of silence, which means dont post anything in regard to a dispute or in the rant sections....You may lose your case on this alone even if the other team was in the wrong BOTH teams will be punished...

Upon the completion of the dispute a forum post will be given for all league members to see....It will contain the findings and accusations ....This is your league and if you want to dispute a match then realize it will become public....This serves two purposes...

1.The league is informed of what is looked at and given confidence that things are handled objectively and thoroughly, and to help remove the rampant paranoia that exist.
2.To help curbed the frivilous accusations. Teams disputing on a consistent basis without cause are risking their spot in the league.

Please keep in mind although there is a strict policy, certain rules violations DO NOT result in a team being removed UNLESS its a pattern....If you are unsure of what penalties can occur with certain violations then please refer to myself, Spaz (OC Admin) or any DC if I'm not around. (Frost and Amy) TC is also available if you are unable to contact those listed above. Depending on the violations in some cases pervious matches will be altered with points being added or taking away....

In short: If you dont know, ASK.... If you have an issue, Be PATIENT and QUIET once you let us know....

48 HOUR RULE:

OK guys. The 48 hour rule is still in effect. This means that all server information should be posted in match comms by Friday evening! At that time (Friday evening) OC's will be assigned their matches to observe.

All the regular time/server restraints are also sitll in effect. This is just a FYI.

Remind your founders/captains. Let's stay on top of things to keep the League up and running smoothly!

Teams still aren't following the 48 hour rule.

When I view match comms on Friday evenings and your team doesn not have the server IP's posted you are not garaunteed an OC! Not every 9pm EST macth can have an OC as of right now and that is how we will determine who does and does not get one! On top of that it allows the opposing team to check ping conditions and such with enough time to work out any issues! Teams can lose the ability to host a round on their server...

The following rules are on the rules page for the Invitational League. If you are not familair with them please go read them again!

RULES EXCERPTS:
Observers

Each team is required to provide a minimum of one person to be available as an observer. You may designate more than one as a back up. We will do our best of have observers available in every match, however, given the large number of teams and time zone differences it is possible that you may not get one assigned to you. In that case you need to set up the insta screen shots to be taken ever 4-5 minutes during the match. This will make it random for each team so neither will know when they will be taking place.

Server Choice

Server choice must be communicated through in the “Match Communications” section in your teams League control panel 48 hours prior to match time. Failure to keep these deadlines may result in your forfeit of these options at the opposing team’s (and admins) discretion. It is each team’s responsibility to provide a server for the rounds that they are responsible for. If a team cannot supply a server they are to use the server there opponent has supplied. If neither team can supply a usable server on a match night then the match will be canceled and both teams will not receive points.

****ANY SERVER USED MUST be running TWL MATCH CFG to be considered eligible servers, unless agreed upon by both teams and approved by an admin.

Complaints about servers are waived after a match is completed.

CODE SECURITY:

Codesecurity in short is a server-side pk3 which allows those who have rcon to make all players take a Forced SS at anytime....

-This will be executed by the OC's or Admins only

-Teams of course still take SS prior to the match starting at a predetermined location

-Forced SS's will be at the disgression of the OC on duty although due to the lag the SS will cause its suggested no more then 3 forced SS's be taken

-All SS's need to be collected and held by the founder for a period of 2 weeks.

-If OC or admin request SS's founder will need to send them to the DC and Total Carnage zipped in their orginal .tga format

-Failure to produce the SS's will end in the teams removal from the league. This also goes for edited SS's as well.

-All servers that will host a match need to have codesecurity on and working. It is suggested that once you upload the pk3 that you leave it there.

The codesecurity program has been adjusted to work in conjunction with some typical pk3's that many teams may have on their server. Including Mohadmin, delator, and PJGscript. On the left hand side you will notice that there are 3 lines of timed annoucements indicating codesecurity it ready to be used. All SS's forced will also contain a random number embedded into each SS making forged SS's easy to spot.

Please goto the Operations Tab and then goto the Downloads section to get this program. Then simple upload the file to the Servers main folder. (EAGames/MOHAAA/main.....)

The following are all the commands that codesecurity will execute:

rcon g_instashot 1 //this is the forced SS that will be used
rcon g_rndshot 0 // 0=off and 1 to turn on the random screenshot (OFF FOR MATCHES)
rcon g_rndshot_time 1261 // seconds beetween the random screenshots (a random time is added too so the admin does not know when coming ethier)
rcon g_announce 1 // 0=off 1=on this is the announce
rcon g_antihack 1 // 0=off 1=on this is the antihack test (the cheat protection test)(OFF FOR MATCHES)
rcon g_instahexen 1 // only use this if you have antihack=0 but want to do just 1 scan
rcon g_max_allies 0 // this number is measured in percentage basis of those on server
rcon g_min_allies # //this sets the minimum allies on server (not percentage based)
rcon g_max_axis 0 // this number is measured in percentage basis of those on server
rcon g_min_axis # //this sets the minimum allies on server (not percentage based)
rcon g_dotheswap 1 //force all to switch teams

All these commands are given for your information but this league is only interested in the Force SS command. Please test it once you install it to your server. Any quesitons please feel free to post and I'll address them.

UPDATE>>>UPDATE>>>>>UPDATE

TC has mentioned that in some matches there may not be an OC or Admin to watch thus the it may be necessary to have code_security do random SS...

To do this you will have to change two settings....

-rcon g_rndshot 1 // This will turn on the random shot feature

-rcon g_rndshot_time 1111 // The is the random time

One feature that should be noted is that the program will automatically add a random time so that the server admin will not even know when its coming....For those who may be concern about too many SS being taken at random there will be no need to be worried as the program settings I showed will still take about 3-5 SS assuming match does not have long delays or breaks at halfway....The prematch SS will still need to be done of course...

PANDORA 106 is now the only acceptable version!!

I had the whole night off last night and I see no reason why this cant be updated for the playoffs. After some thought the teams who are involved in the playoffs are always represented here in the forums and thus have at LEAST one member who can get word to their teammates about any updates. So we will move to 106 for the playoffs.

Teams who are involved in a match where 1 or more members or even a whole team were not aware of the change to use 106 for the playoffs SHOULD BE GIVEN SOME UNDERSTANDING. They should be directed to the forums for the download and install it. This whole process should take an average player 5minutes to complete the upgrade.

In the event there is an issue please dont go looking for any fights. Simple contact an admin to help defuse the situation. Its suggested that all teams use match communications and let the other team know that you are aware of the change to use Pandora 106 and that your team will be ready. This way ethier myself or spaz can look at this and check to see if any teams might not be aware of the updated rule. This may gives us the time needed to even avoid a match time problem.

Any questions or problems come to the IRC channel #twl_moh.

DOWNLOAD PANDORA CLIENT 106 <-----------ALL PLAYERS NEED THIS

DOWNLOAD PANDORA SERVER 106 (only need this is your the one running the server application)
