/me now thinks they'll be a demo out within a month.

just a hunch. but after a major announcenment like that, i'd expect them to want to get through network testing soon so they can release what they have and move on.

i wonder if bots will be availbe? or was that the part that sucked in SP?

I don't think that anything sucked about it.. I think the idea was great.. I think they encountered too many problems and it originally wasn't designed for a SP tournament type gameplay. They most likely accepted the facts, that there was too much redesinging of SP that they would never get it done right to begin with. So, AI was scrapped and the enhanced version of MP was continued. Thats what I think..

what i meant by sucked is ... although their original idea was novel, they couldn't implement it properly so it sucked.

Didn't their newsletter upon release of ET SP being scrapped say.. Look for it shortly before or after easter?
I think it's coming sooner then we think.
