We've put up a Powerball ladder for those who want to get their hands on the recent ET Domination mod in a more competitive setting.
Right now the rules are done, and we're going to be adopting the Global Domination config being used in ClanBase's cup. Quick rundown of the rules:
- 4 players a team
- 2 15 minute rounds, scored like you would traditional sports (sum of both rounds, rather than winning each round.)
- No heavy weapons, rifle nades
- No mines
- Randomly generated map
Unfortunately, in order to do two halves, you'll have to do some math to get the final score, and swap teams manually, since the mod won't carry on scores automatically. Hopefully, this shouldn't be too big of an issue.
The maps will be Base, Ruins, Desert, Depot, and Venice. The last 2 are custom maps, and can be previewed & downloaded from the author's site.
Wolken is another map I'm considering, however I don't want to overload the ladder with custom maps, but if there seems to be a consensus for Wolken, then I'd be more than willing to put it in.
I hope to be seeing you folks on the ladder soon, as this should be a fun addition to ET competition, and be on the lookout of the return of the admin team!
