If i panzer is initiated is it illegal for the person being shot to /kill?...also if you /killed near a person from an oppostite team, is that illegal?

But to answer your question, no, it's not illegal in leagues. Nothing involving /killing is illegal in leagues.

I think you're confusing some shrub pub with TWL leagues. /kill AND spawncamping / spawmkilling are strongly encouraged in league plays.

I don't understand what the big deal is with /kill, it's part of the game, has been since rtcw. if your panzer target /kills then be sneaky about it, or go for more than a one man panz.

Someone should make a sticky for Newbies that haven't a clue about leagues and educate them about how the game is played in leagues, what is expected before, during, & after matchtime (such as being prompt, especially with ready ups, etc.).

I know these new/inexperienced ET players/teams aren't as knowledgable as those that are otherwise more experienced, but don't treat them like shit when they ask a simple question, no matter how noobish it can be.

To further expand on the original question, leagues/ladders allow /kill and spawncamping and is encouraged that they be part of a team's strategy. However, some public servers have admins that are more uptight about minor shit and will kick/ban people for /kill (usually in a gunfight) and spawncamping/spawnkilling. On those servers, it's just not worth playing on them as they tend to be full of craptastic players and not worth having Angst for them.

The thing that makes me the happiest is to /kill when I am the only target when someone "tries" to panzer (me and only me) and they go, "Why dont you die like man?!" and I say, "Kill 2 people w/ a panzer, or get a gun, and I wont /kill." Then they usually cry for 5 minutes, ya'll know the story.

Could someone point me to the something like an ET userguide that says the panzer should not be used to kill one person at a time or that a riflenade isn't an acceptable weapon to be killed by?

If you have a panzer that doesnt (on average) drop 2 players per shot then its time to teach him/her to use an smg or recruit someone else. Youll find every team in the league would be quite happy if you ran a 1 kill wonder everytime you played them, that should tell you something.

my favorite is when you pussy /killers do that when you hear a panz and its not aimed at you or even better when the panzer warms up and then clicks off and you already /kill...that's priceless. 1 man panz's have their needs. a good panzer will one man sometimes and obviously go for bigger kills when they are there. better to get that one man dead and gibbed than to get a 3 man with no gib and med picks em all up. anyways, bitching about /kill is like bitching about 1 man panzing. so everyone just shut up and play.
