Time for new maps in Campaign Ladder

Please....Admins.....please


we need some new map rotations in campaign.

Any chance of getting rid of the central campaign, keeping North africa and Eastern Europe, and adding a 3rd rotation?


Suggestions for the 3 maps?

An old school RTCW rotation would rock but is probably a long shot (converted sub base, ETbeach, etc)

I think V2 Base would be a great map for campaign. Not sure what TWL is looking for when the look at maps though

We are always open to suggestions. Just post your proposed campaign here with optimal map times and we can look it over.

As I can see you are rather new here... so let me let you in on a little secret. TWL cant use old WOLF maps in ET even if they are ported, it has something todo with the map dev, SD, GM and so on.
However, as detox stated. TWL is rather fair with NEW MAP suggestions. But, good maps are had to come by, only 1 of every 25 - 30 maps that are suggested are worthy of league/lader play, even if that. The maps usually need a few weeks worth of extra work to fix "minor" problems, such as choak points or spawn/objective problems.
One great example is, Thats right, you guessed it! Venice, I can't being to tell you all the times the map has been "fixed", oh yeah, theres 2 versions of the map too, one for SW and the other for CAMP... so you can see the thought that goes into changing maps, take a look at the original venice, then look at RC1,2...

well, I'll put some more thought into it and propose some times and maps


I think that v2 base is a map that is well balanced but no one seems to have it on their server campaigns

I am rather new to the forums, sorry

I would love to see something involving Temple Final, or one of the earlier versions, or to see someone fix the current "final" if necessary. But it is hard to put 3 maps together that makes sense. I can't even begin to think of the maps that you would put in with it.

Rhine Bridge is another good one, I believe our clan separated it from Fliegerhorst and the v1_Drakir.pk3, and it is a small file.

Just some options. These are maps that my clan enjoys on our pub server from time to time. Caen is another decent one, but can be rough, and slightly unbalanced. We haven't tried a scrim on it or anything, so its hard to tell.

Keep the suggestions rolling. Gimix is the campaign admin and is compiling suggestions for some new campaigns. I think an Iffy Campaign would be alot of fun.

I agree. Something like dubrovnik/*his first map re-released*/vengeance would be fun.
