In TWL-Camp is there supposed to be the blowable back door. Our server has it that way but the one we played on last night did not. We brought it to thier attention and they were just as adamant that theirs was the right version.

So should it be the blowable back door in campaign?
As far as I know, the TWL version has a door that CAN be blown up. We have it that way on our pub and competition servers.
I thought they dyno back door was only for SW
Iffy's correct. Dynoable back door makes the map offense-biased, theoretically, and is not used in Campaign.
WOULDNT WANT ANY OFFENSE IN CAMPAIGN!
That would prevent the noob teams from spamming one nice chokepoint, and thus be ineffective.
My bad I read right over where you say campaign
Good teams win that map all the time in camp/non-dyno rear mode.

Don't cry.
Good teams win it all the time against bad teams. There is absolutly no reason why a team shouldn't fullhold on the beach, 8v8 with 2 panzers, a mortar, 3 lts, and 2 meds.

shut it nos, i find your offense very offensive! Bah!
Battery on campaign can be won by Allies. We have won it as Allies, and lost it as Axis.
I have a quick question also, about the 8vs8 ladder competition. I remember along time ago you were not suppose to blow the assault ramp on seawall battery with a satchel charge (only dyno). I think I remember that they changed this rule so that you can blow it with at satchel charge as well.

Does anyone know?

here's the breakdown;
campaign: original battery (satchelable ramp, NO dynomiteable back door)
Stopwatch: "etpro" battery (satchelable ramp, with dynomiteable back door, and other mods)

a few seasons ago, we used a dyno-only battery ramp for stopwatch play. That was replaced with the new etpro version.

either way, the campaign ladder has always used the original. Hope you brought your artillary-waders.

rule changed? :o battery is axis map all the way now.
Thanx!
Without the dyno back door option, the ramp should be dyno only. That map gets rediculously axis favored when the allies only choice is to build the ramp just to get it satcheled away 2 seconds later. Just something TWL may want to reconsider for the campaign ladder.
Its not about map balance its about campaign balance.

Oasis is about as much of a gimme for allies as battery is for axis. With 30 min to win oasis, its a long hold for axis.
