It has come to our attention that in last night's match between Fatal Attraction and Warped Sanity that fa used a player in the match that was not on their playoff roster. In comparing server logs from the match to ip records of several sources, the player that played as fa-ABK was in fact comm0n. Comm0n is not on fa's playoff roster and therefore was ineligible to play in the match. Apparently Fatal Attraction thought they would be cute and had ABK either add comm0n's guid to his profile or give someone his TWL log in information and think somehow that would 'prove' that ABK played in the match.
As a result, the match results will be overturned and Warped Sanity will move on in the playoffs instead of Fatal Attraction. Additionally, any fa player that played in this match is suspended for 60 days from ANY TeamWarfare competition, including potential tournaments. Mixer, as team founder, c0mmon as the smurfer and ABK will be suspended for 90 days.
While Im sure that there will be those that post that this isnt the 'same' as cheating and therefore nothing should be done, this is a TeamWarfare playoff and these our rules. They are clearly stated and we have zero tolerance for teams that cant seem to play by those rules.
Additionally, as an aside, these ongoing actions by certain members of the et 'community' really put a damper on those of us who wish to spend our own money for potential tournaments.
