OMG !! This map is so funny with great players like =SG= guys MArketgarden = Teamwork
Liked mg when i pubbed rtcw back in the day. Shrub is a definate no no, I can't even begin to imagine how much spam there is in there. Would it be any good for et competition?

Sure...but this map is mostly played on 32 Slots Shrub Server/8 lives with dual Objective...i tried to play Market with OSP or ETpro and that Suck !

Marketgarden + Etpro = Bullshit

but I love Etpro
SO make the ETPRO server have limited lives. Teh shrub feel is crap. Man is that mod bad..
no hitsounds = omfg how can i possibly play this game
I personally like the long battles in MG, ie unlimited lives. But I think maxmines=3 or less. but since I'm not hosting it.......
Breakout_b2 coming out this weekend, mines not enabled, I think they'd unnecessarily clog up the map (sewers and backwall).

Mines in MG would kind of suck - fighting your way all the way to the allied CP, sneaking past wave after wave of allied respawns only to step on a fricken mine at the end.

Mines?? Umm thats why they made coverts....just a thought....
Never argue with an idiot.

They will only drag you down to thier level and slaughter you with expierence.

quiet you. Mines suck.
Disagree. Mines don't suck ... but a map has to be designed with them in mind. Neither Breakout nor Market Garden were and mines wouldn't necessarily add to the maps. In the case of Breakout, you could seriously clog up the sewers, and therefore half of the attack routes, with mines. The positioning of the objs in MarketGarden. behind 2 sets of enemy spawns, is already difficult enough without adding mines into the mix.

And yes, coverts can spot mines, though it sounds like you have had a far better experience getting coverts to put down their sniper rifles and actually escort you to the obj.
In my humble experience with the et version of mg, covert ops work for the allies, but not for the axis. Axis coverts have a HARDER time avoiding the spawn of the allies to spot the troublesome mines INSIDE the brick wall without getting their melons popped while spotting. Allied coverts can spot from far away. My experiences.

Yes, I'd agree. The axis have to get all the way into the allied CP, wait for the Cvops (if one decided to tag along) to spot mines, plant, then defend.
wtf is the deal with limited lives? ET was not designed for that style of play and it totally ruins the gameplay imho. ND80 has it on a custom maps erver and I just don't get why people like playing that style of game.
