there were less time to prepare for them.
who let you on these boards.

jsut's cheats scripts

AND people didn't make retarded threads all day long.
So people had to spent time thinking of a witty reply instead of pubbing savage..........I mean t2
that is what tournaments are for. It provides for better competition if teams have time to prepare new strats and test them out in scrims.

if discovered the source of this confusion. TW forums are down. thus falhawk is reduced to posting here.

ps:

jsut's cheats scripts

it'd be cool if maps were kept secret until the last minute so teams would have to rely on raw skill and communication (not that those aren't important anyhow).
nah i think strategy makes it more fun...otherwise you just have a PU with tags

you mean a pickup with people who practice and train together all the time.
what would they practice and train on if they didnt know what maps they'd be playing?

Doesn't make a difference if you and your teammates fuck each other all the time... it would still be a random map (it would be the same style/strat of playing over and over). So basically, every team just starting off would have little/no chance against a team that's played all the maps several times.

Plus, that would leave the door open for "all-star teams" and that's the last thing I want. I personally like being able to out-strat/perform another team, it makes my thinking ability more of an advantage, rather than my teammate's skill/long-term experience.

that sounds like fun

maybe a special type of attack, that you can only do every 3 months.. like a blitz! 3-5 days to prepare and nobody knows the maps
damnit!
top matches would be a lot more interesting if...

the bottoms wore bunny outfits and yelped like shaved dogs in heat while in the throes of passion...oh, are we discussing T2?
top matches would be a lot more interesting if...

1. you had to play while jerking off.
2. both teams had to ski fly cap or whatever...backwards.
3. any random players prefs(binds) in the community had to be manditory to learn within 5 minutes of matchtime.
4. you had to listen to a random clans teamspeak on their drinking night while playing.
5. clans were forced to play the matches in T1.

okay addition to blitz! attack

your team chooses a map and so does the opponent, and the TB is random.. but neither team sees the maps chosen, it's up to the teams to keep 'em secret.

wouldnt seem balanced if both teams came prepared for there map only :x
I've always liked defending because generally I would offer the 2 closest days possible. Of course, Im not in the posistion to offer dates now, but I still prefer rushed matches.
Fling
Nothing will make them interesting. Sorry Falhawk.
Teams that have less raw skill than others are the ones who get the benefits when prepareing for maps. the "Blitz" situations would put them at a disadvantage. Usually everyone has to polish their roles if they wanna stand a chance.

That'd be pretty fun, basically making us resort back to being newbs, and i loved the newbie days before i even knew there was a way to play games online, rofl rofl rofl.

i like matches on maps that both teams know so well that it comes down to a matter of raw skill. sometimes the overplayed maps provide the best competition.
