Having trouble logging in & making new account

So I'm on a laptop right now and downloaded/installed T2 last night but for whatever reason when I try to type in my account names/passwords it tells me the account download has failed and to check my username/password.

Also on the create a new account thing it wasn't letting me past the first step telling me the server was offline or unreachable.

Can anyone confirm that this isn't just on my end?

or if it is on my end what should I do to fix this?

note - I've already tried disabling my firefall and all of my anti-virus programs
