So I've finally found some 'alone time' to get this prediction thread going and put it into full swing - just as it should be.
Before I start anything I would just like to say that the team sizes are going to drastically effect the outcomes of the games and teams offensive/defensive scores and rankings. I've been saying we should do an 8v8 or 9v9 tourney since the signups were open and it looks like it's going to turn out that way anyway - due to inactivity from the people that signed up. Because of this people with more 7v7 experience on the classic ladder will more than likely shine while others that have little-no experience on the 7v7 ladder will more than likely fall behind.
Also these predictions have very little to do with the scrims that have already happened and everything to do with "whats on paper" on the draft list.
So without further a due !

Trolling Thunder (Phix)
Offense: 9
Defense: 9
Overall: 9
Notes:
This is an extremely well balanced team formed together by someone that is 'relatively new' to Tribes 2 competition - Phix (aka Orien's IRL frand).
Extremely solid players that are all versatile - myself, hexy, bizzy, orien, squeeze, zumie, tootz, etc
Not only is this is a very balanced team in terms of offense and defense but both the offense and defense are both overwhelming in themselves due to the players that Phix ended up getting - both early and late round picks.
Offense: MTHRFCKNCATS, Squeeze, Orien, Bizzy (if needed and doesn't LD), Zumie, Krash
Defense: Hexy, Bizzy (primarly as LD - draft options picked LD for all 3 positions etc), Phix, Gunther (farmz0rs), Tootz, Jazz, DO, Awesome0, etc
80% of this team is more than capable of playing either offense or defensive positions and being better than the majority of players in the tourney.
(two shrikers - myself and hexy as well)
Even though there is a lot of controversy with Gunther being on ANY team because no one apparently likes the guy he was probably the best pick of the entire tourney going in the 11th round and giving this team the flexibility it needs in order to fucksmash on both offense and defense.

THE TIMESCALE BANITS TOTAL FUN CLUB MEMBERS ONLY (slush)
Offense: 8
Defense: 8
Overall: 8
Notes:
I would just like to start off by saying that with this team.. if Thaen was on offense this season I would have ranked this teams offense a 10 - but their defense would probably be a 6. The way it turned out makes them a much more balanced team but leaves Thaen the job of becoming a prime-time all-star LD of T2, and I'm sure he will more than surprise the majority of teams.
Not only that but Fett and Thaen are like bff's and play extremely - EXTREMELY - well together. Considering they will both be LDing together with a couple other people (Pinkbunnay, xclusive and possibly firepower depending on his position of HO or LD).. I feel like they will be an extremely hard defense to get past - especially on vehicle maps.
In terms of their offense what can I say?
Morgor, Firepower, Berseker, Slush, sake, nightwear, etc
They definitely have a HO 'powerhouse' of a lineup
The only thing I see bringing them down is the fact that slush is their only real capper and I can't imagine sake shacking off the rust to get up to speed in time for it to matter - we'll see. That will more than likely be the deal breaker for this team is if they can field a competent and skilled capper other than slush.
Other than all that this team looks really good and I'm sure they will be doing extremely well during the RR phase and more than likely make it to semi-s and probably even finals.

Celios said it was legal (Halo)
Offense: 7.5
Defense: 7.5
Overall: 7.5
Notes:
So as you can tell from the first couple picks that Halo made he was attempting to steal all the shrikers that are left in T2 - and nearly succeeded. It was a really smart picking process by him for the most part considering half the maps are vehicle maps this season.
Not only that his shrikers are more than capable of playing LD and HO at top levels of what's left in t2. So needless to say they will be good wether or not it's a vehicle map or not - just when it comes to a vehicle map.. lol good luck - that's when I would pump their defense from an 8 up to a 9, but you never do know against teams with an overwhelming offense and how often they will be going for this teams generators.
The only downside to this team is LOLCAPS imo - sorry LOLCAPS.
Domestic is and can be a great capper - and apparently he's going to be active this season. Just LOLCAPS needs to learn to coordinate with the team properly and even take a lesson out of a better - any better - cappers playbook and learn how to do things properly. If he can step it up and coordinate with Domestic and the rest of this teams offense then it should be GG.
If you look at it in terms of a vehicle map you know that Gunnah will more than likely be Shrike O while ZP is Shrike D - and while Gunnah is Shrike O he will more than likely be going for flag grabs as well, and that certainly doesn't hurt in the slightest considering he's great at what he does.
However, I see a lack of 'top tier' HO on this team besides Gunnah. That will CERTAINLY hurt this teams offense and that's why it's a 7.5 and not an 8.
Defensively this team looks solid as a rock hard zumie dick. (see what I did there?)
Enigma and ZP on LD will be decently hard to deal with.
However.. I just don't know how things are going to go with ZP in a Shrike and who is going to be there to backup Enigma when he needs it on vehicle maps once the shit starts hitting the fan.
We'll see I guess.

Mooley's Bastids (Mooley)
Offense: 8
Defense: 7
Overall: 7.5
Notes:
If anyone saw the capper emergency this tourney it was probably Mooley.
Krash and Devil were the only players available to be picked that were main position cappers - and 'top tier'. The only other one would have been slush, but he's captaining.
So not only did he end up getting Devil but he got Bran (who apparently didn't sign up to cap but play HoF/HD - though I'm sure he will do what his team needs him to) and even HitchHiker (booniedog).
This is why this teams offensive rating is an 8 and not a 7 or even 6.5 - they took all the people that are capable of backup capping for the most part.
Aside from that this teams defense looks pretty good too
Marko, Idjit, Dave, and Glarm on LD
Just right there you have 4 good LD all capable of a laser light show - too bad surreal isn't in the rotation.
The only thing really bringing this team down defensively is the fact that I don't really see any 'great' shrikers here unless you wanted to move some people around.
The rest of the offense looks half-way decent but nothing spectacular.
Seems as if though this team might have a bit of a HO problem in their ranks. Who knows.
we'll see what mooley ends up doing I suppose

Sunday Slaughter (YTB)
Offense: 8.5
Defense: 6.5
Overall: 7
Notes:
The offensive rating of this team should be more than obvious
Tarzul and Codeman - enough said.
Those two alone are probably the two best HO in this entire tourney and YTB ended up getting both of them somehow.
The only thing that is hurting this team offensively is the fact that they have no real 'main' capper. Sure YTB and Happypuppy can probably cap together - but everyone knows how good YTB is at capping and Happypuppy is good but I don't know how he's going to pull the weight of it alone.
Defensively I really don't like this team that much at all.
They have a couple of good/average LD but for the most part I don't see any all-stars or anything in that spectrum of the universe that would make such a huge difference on defense to where this teams defensive rating would go above 6.5.
Might wanna try shifting things around and see what you can do YTB - maybe even consider stacking your defense just to give yourself that edge. It is going to be probably 8v8 and 9v9 afterall and with Tarzul and Codeman on offense they both count for 2-3 people alone anyway.. so with that considered anything is possible.

Lucky Players (Anthem)
Offense: 8
Defense: 6
Overall: 7
Notes:
I just like ranking your teams last Anthem. Then that way once you make it to finals you can call me a dumbass
Seriously not a bad team here at all even though I'm ranking them #6
In fact that are probably just as good as the teams listed from 3-5
Just the only thing I see hurting this team is
1. Lack of a Shriker
2. Lack of 'main cappers'
3. Projectile being a fag thinking he's good when he's bad
4. Rayne not playing HO and trying to focus on other positions this season
If people were playing the positions they sould be playing and they had a more active team then I would say they would be an easy #2 or even #1 team
Sorry Anthem
You know I love you

That about sums it up
Will edit shit later when I realize I made a horrible typo or something gay like that
peace
also I will be posting match results in the following 'reserved' posts for RR and once we actually get the actual tourney underway
