Even though it looks like season 9 probably won't be happening due to a lack of people signing up... (or maybe 100 more people will magically sign up, who knows) I had an interesting thought that might spice up the picking process - which is also extremely simple.
Step 1
Find a program online that allows you to input names/text into a "box/hat" and allows you to pull the "pieces of paper" out with one of the inputted names written on it
or
Have someone that can cast and cam and actually have a box/hat with pieces of paper in it with names on them
Step 2
Write down the names of the "top" 15-25 people (ranging anywhere from average to top tier) on these "pieces of paper" and put them into the "box/hat"
Step 3
During the draft allow each captain use of this random draft pick process that allows them to pick two players at once but skips them over for the next round of picks - however, this may only be used once per draft
Could even call it "Gamblers Pick" or "Roll the Dice" just to make things simpler and give it a neat name
