Browsers/Tmail

So some people keep complaining about these not being done and being promised over and over but Thyth made a good point.

<@Thyth> If people really cared about the completion of TribesNext, they'd find some way to contribute.
<@Thyth> I've had enough people promise to do things and then flake out when it actually came to doing work.

So maybe some of us who know something about programming, etc can help him out and we can get this stuff finished. Thyth has done a lot and maybe some of us can contribute. Heres what he needs:

<@Thyth> I'd like a competent programmer to finish the GUIs for the browser and tmail.
<@Thyth> And a fellow x86 wizard to help finish patching the net code to prevent timescale/laghacks.
<@Thyth> And someone who knows enough to integrate data compression into the auto map downloader.
<@Thyth> Maybe someone I could trust to overhaul memory integrity challenges for cheat detection.

If you know how to do any of this go to #tribesnext

gogogo

[17:41] <@Thyth> But, I'm about as likely to get those things as I am a pony.

Go smart ppl.

Do good deeds.

I offer DQ giftcards to the person that is of the most help to Thyth.

"I'd love to be able to help, but I don't know shit."

Pretty sure 99% of people are covered by that.

What's the point why do we need this? IRC works fine.
