Maybe we should take a moment to share who actually was reliable or not this season, so that the next set of captains can buyer beware. I think players basically fall into these categories (M,R,U,F,N):
Money- Show to everything
Reliable- Show to most, communicate when they can't
Unreliable- Sometimes show, don't communicate when they can't they just don't show up.
Fair Weather-Were showing until things got tough, then became flaky. They usually start talking about rl stuff as the reason.
Never Shows- They just never came to irc or anything.

Everyone on our team was active enough. Jack Booted Thug, -Predator-, and 2-Smoked showed up for nothing, not once. Bizzyman showed up to 1 map of 1 scrim I believe, that's it.
sajent showed for most things, but was probably the least active of all the actives. Wasn't a problem though. Probably cuz everyone else was so active.
i am here to rate my team.. but i have some general comments:
i am all for tanking your draft value by listing questionable scrim/match attendance so you can get on better team... but IF YOU PUT REALLY GOOD ATTENDANCE THEN SHOW TO NOTHING... YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG.
astralis - shit pick, shit person, shit attendance, disappeared after week 2 (timescale logs released around this time... COINCIDENCE???)
bizzy - showed to matches, some scrims, disappeared for 1 crucial match with no notice, generally tries to do too much
verve - showed to most scrims, all matches but semis(communicated in predraft notes), good communication
elixir - showed to all matches, some scrims, cant expect much more from an alcoholic, played well for not playing for 2 seasons
wedge - disappeared for a whole week with no heads up, showed to all other matches, AWFUL scrim attendance this season, solid ho otherwise
beserker - showed to all matches and most scrims, one of the few top picks that showed
heels - showed to everything he put in predraft notes, good hof, fun guy to have on team
bt - good farmer, computer issues prevented him from doing much else, amazing attendance all season long
zepto - shit player, shit attendance, shit person (jk played fairly well in matches for never coming to scrims)
popo - would probably have had better attendance (zero scrims) if he knew how to tell the time difference between mainland & hawaii.. fun teammate, good match attendance
fase2 - amazing scrim/match attendance, trolled me a couple times this season by having internet/computer issues 5 mins into a map and forced us to play down for 10-15 mins at a time, decent communicator, put in time to learn routes & spam each week
drongo - amazing scrim/match attendance, did whatever he was told, spent a lot of time working on ho routes & spam, great teammate
greedo - amazing scrim/match attendance, put in time to learn routes/spam, wish he'd talk more on mumble
gryp - drugs probably got to him after first scrim, may be in ditch somewhere
alpha sentinel - amazing scrim/match attendance, did whatever he was asked, issues with mumble made it hard for us to communicate w\ him
hayabusa - tries hard, does his best, needed some more mentoring but our team seemed to give up after week 2, great attendance (maybe missed 1 match)
custompunk - ta is shit
bevaerking97 - not having him probably cost us the championship

I was there for everything the first week but the team seemed really full and I was just the spare wheel thus I just let it go.

that sounds about right.
mordacity week - my connection was cutting out all day, sometimes spiking to ~8000 for minutes at a time. next day I took my beloved hound (Bowser) for a walk and I noticed 2 Bell vans next to a tent set up around the phone panel box at the end of my street. I told them they ruined my treibs and humiliated me in front of my team. they didn't seem to care so I threatened them. we almost fought in the middle of the street but I decided to back out last second to set a good example for my dog who was formerly an at-risk youth before I took him in. Mic wasn't working either that map (my fault--forgot to plug my webcam back in after moving my computer around) otherwise I would've told you my connection was *problematic*.
as far as last week of regular season went... the Canadian in me got the better of me as I tried to alt-tab to XDCC alpha some spam through IRC when u wanted him to HO that map and he didn't have any. anyways... when I alt-tabbed back to tribes, it went from ~160 fps to about 30. I had to reboot twice 'cause my CMOS battery was dead. also, my reboots are really slow for some reason--it takes a while to get the lights on on my keyboard and the flashing underscore in my top left corner. oh yeah... and internet wasn't connecting after first reboot either. oh, and my firewall keeps randomly going 'red' until I restore defaults to get my internet working... but I suspect mistcane/haxy are just hacking my computer to get at my secret stash of holystorm bra pics.
anyways... good season. thanks to everyone that signed up (and showed up) and made this tourney happen (rayne, bran, sfphinxs, etc.)

I hear ya, you're right also. Still, just idle in IRC. Always good to have depth you never know when some1 has irl stuff to take care of.
We've been short in scrims before. Also we generally rotate players between maps so everyone gets to play.
