Semifinals and Finals

I will update this post as more information is finalized, but I thought that I would update the community with what information has been determined for the semifinals and finals for Season 5 of the CTF Draft League.

The maps were determined by the captains selecting 1 map to be played, seemed simple and fair enough. EDIT: Top seed (one and two for semis) will have Storm, and bottom seed (three and four for semis) will have Inferno. Matches are best 2 out of 3 and the top seed determines the map order. If a team wins the first two maps, the third does not need to be played. The maps must be played to completion, no ties. If a map ends in a tie, it must go to overtime.

EDIT: #1 and #2 will determine Map Order by Wednesday August 22nd at 10 EST. The order must be given to the opposing team by that time (sooner is better).

#1 that shh cray (Storm) vs #4 Bend Over (Inferno)

#2 This Name Kills (Storm) vs #3 Skinny Dipping Angels (Inferno)

TWL2-MidnightMayhemDeluxe

The winners of those matches will face off on September 9th, 2012. Slush will have Storm, YTB will have Inferno. Map order TBD.

After hearing about some poor sportsmanship last night. I want to remind all teams that each player needs to be playing under their registered name (from TribalOutpost.com) in order to compete. I realize some players are having issues with tags due to their names being made too recently to be verified with the tag server, I believe most of those issues have been dealt with already.

In short: Play the game, stop being turds.

No, I mean ZP and cpm and other players on their team played on each others accounts in matches and it was for some reason confirmed legal as long as everybody playing is actually a legal player.

Depends on the teams who get there. If they want to play Labor Day weekend, they are welcome to. If they want to delay 1 week and play after Labor Day weekend, that is fine as well. Or if they wanted to play during the week before or after, don't have to necessarily play that Sunday or the next.

It was 100% a Celios/TWL decision. Whatever season I captained.

I hope you understand how rule lawyering and being anal about names and whatnot makes it take even LONGER for matches to start. Now you're going to get people complaining about players like squeeze (if he wasn't eliminated) on different names etc. instead of just playing the fkn match.

Oh yeah because the person not on the proper name has nothing to do with that. Show up on your real name or are you scared?

I hope this doesn't effect Dosanti aka Haggis since everyone knows that Dosanti is Haggis. Should he play as Haggis or Dosanti moving forward?
