Hey!

Not sure if this is against the rules?

However, recently i had a nephew born with Cystic Fibrosis. Come this may i plan on participating in a walk-athon fundraiser to help raise money for a cure. I just wanted to see if any of you wanted to get a tax write off and donate a little cheese to benefit this fundraiser. If i do get any donations from the t2 community I will find a way to get some exposure to our community. I will get a shirt made that list donators avatar Nicks of our online community and wear it during the walk!

The problem is, I don't see anywhere on there about how far you will have to walk. I want to know what I'll be getting for my money! Also, would you be willing to walk an extra mile? I don't just give this stuff away. You have to earn it.

Cyclones had a good idea! id like to get all the donor's in a server and take a screen shot of us all posing on a cool map!

I think it would be cool to if we all had the same skin. Maybe rooster will be interested in making me a CF skin?

Efx i thank you a ton for donating! Chris also donated a couple days ago and i thank him also. Unfortunitly i had my walking shirt made last week and it was finished last night so i didnt get a chance to throw both of your names on there! However, i will pencil them in so to speak for the walk, and then add them to the final design. When i pick up the shirt today i'll take a few photos and post them.

He’s doing well, he was approved for an experimental drug from his Doc who insist this is a miracle type drug. However, because it is still experimental there is no generic version or cost associated with it. For a 1 month supply its $500, and insurance won’t help cover the cost due to it also being experimental. This cost on top of his respiratory treatments and other meds for eating is adding up fast. However, on the plus side there is an insurance group/policy for CF patients through the CF foundation which would eat a lot of the cost for his future medications and it has a guaranteed 24 hour drop time. Meaning that at anytime we can order supplies and have them there next morning. The premium is slightly larger than some insurances but the cost in drugs alone way outweighs that. Other than that he’s finally taking weight (actually getting chunky). I’ll throw up some pic’s throughout the day to show some of his happiness.
