hey everyone, ive recently been working on a handful of clientside maps (since the autodownloader is supposedly on its way). so here you will find five maps that i hope you will enjoy.
1. Crater
Crater is aptly named for the impact crater that creates the easy circluar ski routes around the map. multiple lips and smooth hills lead to extremely easy to run 300+ routes for heavys and 350+ for cappers. The base is a focal point, since HO has such easy access to it. All base defensive turrets are run by an external solar panel on top. The inside generators control all inventories in the base, the flag inv, and the flag turret/sensors. Fog is a little thicker and flag play should be almost all circular routes.
2. Great Lake
A large body of water spans the center of the map, making the trip in one hop is diffcult. Easy skiing along both sides and two seperate bases each individually powered should spread the offense thinner from the flag to ensure rape. Again most routes will be circular.
3. Saddleback
A tall saddled mountain sits in the middle seperating two elevated areas holding a titan flagstand and magnum base. routes across or slight front to backs will be most effective, but chasing should be important on this map. Raping will be very important for maintaining flag pressure.
4. The Squeeze
A very tall mountain range blocks direct access to the enemy flag area. Only a small crack allows for any straight line capping, but a small river at the bottom increases the risk of squeezing through. deep bowls round out one side, with a neutral base on the edge that is run by a large solar base. The main bases are held in a mountain behind the flags. Each base has a normal generator which powers the downstairs inventories and sentry. Also deeper inside of the base is the main generator which runs the upstairs inventories, sensors, and turrets. This map looks like it could get very clustery.
5. Yawning Gap (vehicle map)
By far the largest map, the flags are almost 2000 apart. A wide set of rolling hills which are extremely easy to ski seperate the two bases and their flags. the flags are located behind the bases, protecting from back to front grabs. each base has two main generators located deep downstairs which powers everything in the main base except the vpad and very top inventory. there is a larger outdoor generator which powers the vpad, the last inventory, and the forward base. the forward bases are 1000 away from the enemy base, and are easily repairable. Not sure if you can get the MPB off of the vpad or not (give it some tries if you like). If its impossible I will get rid of it as a choice.
Thats it, please let me know what you think. This is not the final release of these maps, but I have them all to a point where I would like some feedback before touch ups.

if you dont have all of the twl map packs, you might not have some of the bases or textures required, so dont freak out if that happens.
