Vets cost alot in the military budget. And basically the military is where America spends all its money. We need to start fighting wars with robots. Thanks though, especially to the WW2 guys.

I would also like to thank the troops for insuring that solid foreign oil reserves are available to our economy for the next 10 years. The alternative would have collapsed our economy worse than any terrorist could...

even if that is true.. and im not sure how accurate that is. the point is, it's the governments job to protect its people, so, im not really sure how thats a bad thing.

FYI Vets dont go to war the assholes you vote for send them

and they (assholes you vote for) only have to serve one term and they get paid the rest of there life.

the Vet has to spend 20 years to get extra pay when he leaves the service.

this isn't completely true...the military needs more intelligent people in the modern era.

with all the advanced equipment that both we and the enemy use, you have to be more aware of many different things.

if you're of a competent intelligence level you'll test out of infantry positions and be put into ones that require more aptitude.
