My hypothesis is that he's afraid that his imaginary image of himself as the best T2 player would be tarnished if his team were to lose.

Discuss.
because 14 people is 7 people too many for proj's brain to handle.
Maybe he was on a business trip during Season 2 draft, like I was...

Really.

proj in the workplace? lets be real here.
If he ain't the best on a dead 7 man ladder, how's he going to stack up in 14 man comp.
My view is that he wants to keep his record/ego intact at the expense of not playing competitive tribes. Risking it by playing in a tourney he thinks is inferior to 7v7 is not worth it for him.

Which is retarded, as one can claim that 14v14 doesn't reflect his true skills or his record in 7v7. As 7v7 and 14v14 are completely different beasts
i don't like 14 man
competitive tf2 takes up most of my video game time

Cool, what is your teams name. What is your in game name.

It wasn't because he was playing offense as a smurf for some team.
Doesn't he realize that having a team of 14 allows you to play 7 man's against your own team until you become super amazing? Then whenever you combine the two into one team again it forms a super mech similar to Power Rangers. I always thought this was obvious.
afraid he might not get picked first over all

Exactly!

If 7 man is awesome. Then 14 man is awesome x 2.

ez logic
hmm the t2 community finally figured out proj is overrated?
