[DQ] Demos and Thanks

I want to thank each player on my team for everything they did to make DQ a fun and competitive team to play on.
Thank you guys for sticking with me. I was very green at the start of this tourney when it came to handing out positions/sitting people and making in game adjustments.


Stork-Best LoF in the game. If he is alive the flag is staying home. Very easy to get along with. Stick around stud!!

Astralis- Around everyday the first 2 weeks then gets suked into LoL. Realy helped me at the start to get things going. Guy can cowboy and get flag home vs Full D even in 12 man. LoL is still TRASH!

All Eyez- Why the hell do you have a bad rap on TWL? Really cool down to earth dude. Can do anything in T2 and do it well.

JT- Guy can do anything on D. HOF,HD, FARM,LD, Hold flag in standoffs. Guy is totally solid, super dependable, and just a pleasure to talk with. Thanks for letting me vent to you late at night JT.

-Blight-(HotRodRe)-Most underrated LD in the game, hands down. HOOOOOTROOOOOOOOOD!

EFX-Another underrated player. EFX is top notch. Kills HO like he invented it.

SelfOwnage-Most mis-understood person in twl. Guy puts tons of work in and is always ready. Always available to talk strats etc.. Way above average HO and understands the game better than people give him credit for. His trash talk is just trash talk...stop taking it so personal.

Odio-guy can LD like a boss. Dont be surprised if he is driving around your mpb for 3/4 of the map. LoL is trash!!!

Firepower!-Storks right hand man for the first part of the tourney. Solid LD. He may or may not ride around in a grav cycle during a match.

SpiderShock-Great flag awareness. I put him in an akward situatino having him play HO. He did well though. Guy is really good in light.

HappyPuppy-His LO was crucial to us winning the first 3 matches.Great attitude and fun guy to hang out with on TS3.HP dont pay for cars straight up with a check anymore K!!

Rooster-Great guy to have on the team. With a little more work he could be a good LO. I understand why you got upset that you didnt play vs hawkbat. I hope you can understand why I played the best lineup possible. No hard feelings rooster.

Friendo-WOW what a value pick at round 20. Guy has skills.Dont want to spill too much bc I would pick him again... alot higher. =)

Psydswipe-Another huge value pick. Round 21? Kidding me? His rifle is off the charts. Pretty flag aware as well.

Jeslam- ncn-E- I remember first watching your HD demo, and I was blown away at how effecient you are. You started every match after that. Quiet guy.. but man he is dependable and gets things done.

Devil- No one plays the flag better. Pick ups mid field, good passes, good catches, calls grabs,calls chain grabs,calls regrabs. Solid. Awesome guy.

Celios- Luky for us he likes this game. We are fortunate to have him as our admin. On top of that, he is a tier 1 HO. Guy knows his strats, always has spam for any map or any situation, and ALWAYS gets clean flag grabs (cough-cough). Thanks Celios, Hope you stick around for many many more tourneys.

Here are my writeups for each match. They progressively got a bit better. Maybe a new captain could make use of them. Also I included my Draft sheet. I used this to break people into positions. I have both drafts on here so I can see about where people were picked. Good info to have while drafting.

Many things were learned from this tournament. There is another just 2 weeks away. I can only hope that I land on a team that has as many cool guys as this one had. I truly enjoyed our time together fellas. I will miss DQ.

Yeah no hard feelings Redeye, I was just a bit disappointed, just keep what happened in mind for future reference if you ever captain again maybe? It was a pleasure being on the team, you were a modest, down to earth captain, our team had great dynamic, and felt like one cohesive unit. It was obvious you put a lot of effort into captaining and it made the game a lot more enjoyable for all of us on it.

Your team would have lost if you would have agreed to reschedule, but you don't want to play because you scared obviously. It wasn't anyone on hipcats fault that those dudes didn't show up.

Don't be scared homie. I think you know deep down whats up, so its cool. Enjoy false victory knowing that there was another team out there that would have beaten you. GGS nub.

Hipcats were so afraid of DQ, that they didn't show up for either of our scrims. Is it really so shocking that they did not show up for our match either?

This tourney started out with me missing the draft. I went out for the night and assumed I was going to end up on either toys or fett's team. Both of them talked to me about picking me with their first pick. So I had even talked draft strats with them.

When I got back in for the night and saw I landed on Redeye's team, I was pretty bummed. I didn't know most of the team and wasn't there to help him draft. So I figured it wasn't going to end well for us.

Then I was a little late for our first scrim...I ended up playing two maps vs pwny and we got crushed.(although the 2nd map was kinda a joke)

I think two nights later we played Rayne's team. This scrim went much better. I believe we took 2 out of 3 from them(if not all 3). So I saw some potential.

Our first match vs Hawkbat was awesome to say the least. Even tho we both had our fair share of sloppy play. The way our defense played was incredible for a week old team.

I posted on TWL and IRC that we had the best defense in the tourney shortly after that match. If any of you doubted that, you can holmahdick.

The rest of the tourney can be summed up by us playing some straight up nasty D at times and a fast paced, clutch grabbing offense that did it's fair share of work.

I have no doubt that we would have beaten hipcats. And I am bummed I wasn't given the opportunity to show them some quality.(no disrespect to some of their members because they have some good guys. but a few of them are some of the worst competitors I've seen in my tribes years.)

If I end up playing in the next tourney, I hope a few of you land on my team. Cuz I'll be winning it again.

Edit - Oh ya also, I am going 2 release some of my better match demos from this tourney 2mrw ok? ok.

Special thanks to Devil, Celios, and Jeslam for solidifying the team and correcting all our weaknesses through the supplemental draft.

We told Redeye to draft verve over Devil (oops). All I knew about Devil was that he was some Euro/Gooner and would be playing matches at 3 am. OMG what a pickup. Excellent capper with crisp routes and very vocal, gj Redeye with the pick.

Celios, plz make me spam for next tourney, even if we're on different teams O_o

Nice one Redeye and DQ, was really good fun to play with you all and hopefully I'll be with a few of you in the next Draft!

The offence was wonderful to play with, some really epic plays, our D wasn't shabby either!

IDK if I deserve DQ all I did was shattily farm. Like I pooped out turrets.
