Recently when i start T2, sometimes my comp just restarts, happened twice in the last couple days. I was talking to someone in IRC bout it, and it seemed it JUST happened to him. Anyone else get this problem?

yep, just got this two days ago, only happened once though. It was the first time I had ran it after changing from another monitor and changing from full screen to windowed.
Happened to me once, hasn't happened since
Drakness.. iv'ed had that problem... its either 4 things..

1. power supply not strong enought or defective
2. your ram is defective
3. vid card drivers need to be updated
4. vid card is defective

Sometimes for no reason, the IRQ of my AGP slot will get "shared" with another device. This causes one of two problems. Either my computer will boot in 16 colors and won't recognize my vid card, or my computer will reboot when I change resolutions "or enter tribes 2 since my desktop is at a different resolution than I play in" The only way I know to fix it is to manually change it back in the bios so that IRQ's are not shared. Maybe this is your problem?

most likely pc is having memory dump, and your options tell your machine to reboot. you can learn alot from the blue screens if you look the codes up.

Yea, but any stop screen you get in XP doesn't stay up.. your machine just reboots right away. I think I've seen an option somewhere which tells the OS to NOT reboot immediately after receiving a stop message/blue screen. Also, just yesterday T2 rebooted my machine after I installed a new mobo/RAM/vid card. Hasn't done it since.
Check CPU temp next time. Dust collects in heat sink + it is getting warmer all across the USA.
Interesting stuff guys, thx for the info

Could be a # of things, only happened twice though, if it happens again, im going to rip this POS apart and see whats going on, see about getting diff RAM, and possibly a new Vid card, i do need to clean it out though dust is probilly insane

It's disgusting to see the amount of dust/crap that gets clogged in cpu/case fans. They work a million times better after they're thoroughly cleaned out. You'll notice your temp drop as well.
2 things that always need cleaning, yet should never be cleaned near human eyes.

Keyboard
CPU fans
