New T2 players for Tourney

Hello, if you are a new TWL player who just signed up especially for the up and coming T2 tournament, why don't you just introduce yourself a little; how long you've played T2, what positions you play, a little about yourself, etc. Don't be shy and welcome to TWL!

Also, make sure you have all of the map packs installed. we will be using twl and twl-2 maps. if you are returning to the game after a long hiatus please make sure you have everything you need to get in the game and even test it out on a public server prior to practices your team may run. here are some good sites to visit to download everything needed...

i am a tribe aerial assault vet never played t1, just set up my t2 to use a game pad though so i should b able to pick up game fast i hope?

Hey there I'm a goon noob, started playing when TribesNext came out. Sometimes I play as Gaggins. I haven't been playing much for the past six months or so but this sounds cool! I have the map packs but am largely unfamiliar with the maps. I've watched a lot of demos and some T2TV and lurked around here for a little while watching you guys argue and emptyquote each other. I'm a noob with IRC and teamspeak or vent or whatever as well but I'm sure I can pick it up quick. And I finally got a new monitor that is big enough to play T2 in windowed mode so I can minimize without crashing!

I've wanted to learn how to play comp for a while but have always worked evenings, so this is good timing for me. As far as skill, well, I'm not that great but I have my moments. I try to play the flag. I've dabbled in different playing positions but I don't have a preference. I'm a laid-back guy and willing to listen and learn, so if someone is interested in helping me out that'd be sweet.

I just downloaded and IRC program since the Firefox one seems to suck so I'll make my way over to lastgasp later and say hello.
