SCP Bids TWL Goodbye

Bran disbanded the team today. A few of us will be moving on from T2 for now and there is no way SCP could still field a team.

I won't be playing T2 anymore, but once I have internet at my new house I'll be making a little demo pack of some of our recent scrims/matches that ppl have been asking me about.

I'm not actually sure that number 4 post tribes next 7 man classic ctf team is anything anyone would aspire to.

Not surprised. They were only waiting around to get pasted by the next (non-DS, kryand,kambul) allstar team to come up

I guess this way some of their fragile egos will remain intact.

I thought SnH and Ni had the same roster except you were missing Thaen and uh cpm? SnH was a far better team defensively than Ni with Sterio and Meyog on LD.

With the roster SCP has been running since like June/July I doubt anyone could beat us unless we got really sucked out on map draw.

I think the only "all star" type teams that tried to take us on since March were Viking Kitties and Stack and Hack and we shut them down pretty easily...

Our team and players just evolved over time to a much higher level than we were at early this year and late last year when we lost to teams like C22 and Ni.

This is coming from the guy who shows up for every SCP event and gets put on the bench every single map that I've seen? I didn't play because I didn't want to play and never showed up for a scrim. You certainly can't say that. Way to walk right into your own insult, retard. Not that I'd expect anything else for you, seeing as how your thinking ability is rivaled only by how terrible you are at T2.

I wouldn't get all big all of a sudden. If people wanted they could easily make a killer stacked team that would blow you guys out no problem. The only reason they don't is it would obviously kill a few teams in the process. Don't kid yourselves, you haven't improved to the level of DT or snh.

I think if Vanguard, 5150, Rapture, and Goon Haven Gangstas put together a team consisting of their 7 best players they still couldn't beat us.

I guess you're saying I sucked, and it's kinda true. I won't make excuses, but that certainly wasn't my best game. I will still say though, that if you put anyone else in my exact position it wouldn't have changed the outcome very much, just would have taken SCP a little longer to cap out Stonehenge.

Also, ggs SCP, you guys were definitely the longest lasting team in Tribes Next, you had a lot of talent, and have really seemed to pull it all together as of late. It's always sad to see a good team leave the ladder. Toodles : ]

Blaming SterIO for the D sucking isn't really fair. Almost all scrims and matches played with S&H were Immigrant and me on LD. I'm very accustomed to Immigrant's play style and we have many unspoken routines and assumptions unique to us. It was faily last second to bring in SterIO, and the D sufferend just as much from misscommunications as actual sucking.

One of the reasons I started playing t2 was to play against SCP in a match. Now I am sad :/

was fun while it lasted. one of the best teams I have ever played for and the friendships that were made will always be remembered.

K this should be easy. I won't even make fun of you because you're just misinformed.

My school's network restricts online gaming (for some fucking reason). I can log into T2, but it locks up and I get a ping of about 2000+. What sucks is how unpredictable it is. I can play for 10 min, then lock up 3-4 times in a 30 min match. Sometimes I lag out at the load up screen. Wasn't Proj lagging out before the SCP match and sat SH for that reason? Anyways, anyone on SCP can verify my story. It even happened against DT on DX; watch anyone's demo. I HOF'd for the first 10 minutes, lagged out, then Nev capped the shit out of us. I lagged out bout 3x that map.

So I basically became a liability. I've been watching the team play since school started in Sept, occasionally playing in scrims. Can't have the HD/HOF randomly lag out, can't lag out when you're full health HO+shield in the enemy gens (this has happened). I helped recruit Thaen because he's a great player but mainly to replace my abssence, gg's. Might I add he's done a damn fine job.

I've never been sat during any SCP match or scrim, and the team would never want me to. Ask any of them.

Wtf? You fool. Is this directed to SCP? The last available "stacked" team that could be assembled got blown out in 2 maps and out-capped 16-3, where were you? There's no one else left to form a super stacked allstar squad.

I think the SCP now could match up better with the DTs and ni's of like last year. It'd be a tough battle and I'm not saying we'd win, but the outcome would be closer win or lose. SCP never even played ni or C22 in a match, only scrims I believe. We lost twice to DT and original S&H each.

I think C22 > DT > ni > S&H with SCP floating around somewhere near the middle

SCP was and will be an inspiration for the up and coming teams. GGs guys. You left quite a legacy behind.
