Senior staff recently informed those of us who are the admins for Tribes forums that certain changes are needed. It has fallen on my shoulders to inform everyone here within the Tribes communities of our intent to moderate the forums in similar fashion as in the rest of the game communities here at Teamwarfare. Obviously we have enjoyed a slight advantage over other game community forums through the years with the content allowed here.
Most of us have been here a heck of a long time and watched this site come alive, weve read countless threads and posts, some serious, some hilarious and everything in between. It was almost Dodge City years ago with the sign No Newbs Allowed posted on every corner. Ill miss those days (sort of) but starting today many of the threads, many of the posts that skated because of the fact its Tribes will be locked and players will see even less tolerance towards what was considered Normal or Acceptable when it comes to posting in these forums.
Yes it sucks and I dont believe your admins here are all that excited about it either, but it is what we are being directed to do. Keep that in mind when we bring the atomic elbow down squarely against your post. Well get through it like weve done with so many other issues here over the years.
