Patching and unpatching for matches

I just read on the main page about unpatching or patching for other teams in matches.I think the defending team should have to patch or unpatch for the challenging team.Thats what hould have been posted along in that info on the home page.I do agree the new patch does suck in a way..the biggest bug I get is when after a game Ill go back to chat and type and nuthing happens..I can go back into another game, but cannot chat..so I have to restart tribes2 to be able to chat again. Is that happening to anyone else?

happens to me...dont know why

and i only use a patched version....

I don't even use chat
