TWL Match Time/Date System

Why is it that the times cannot be the same, yet the days can be consecutive?

Not singling anyone out, but the last two challenges we have had Friday and Saturday as the chosen dates. Talk about a weekend killer, having to stay home and play Tribes or have your team play short.

Basically it just seems that this system just allows a lot of "date fucking" where you pick Fri/Sat combo and hope they don't have as many as you do.

Not a flame, I am just curious, does anyones schedule really only allow them to play Fri/Sat (why not Fri/Sun)? And more importantly is there some way to improve this system? Or am I the only one who thinks Fri/Sat picks are sucky?

Well if you havn't noticed some people work a lot. One of my members works the night shifts, and only really gets a chance to play on friday/sat nights. Nothing anyone can really do about it. When it comes down to it, if a team is going to fuck you over, they'll do it one way or another, if its not date, its server, if its not server, its some "rule", etc.

And if you haven't realized, many of the people who play usually have no social life on Fridays or Saturdays.

This is what I think about Friday night matches

I know at least two teams that always pick Fri/Sat with good reason: True Sauna and Eurogh3y. But then again, we are Europeans and it is much easier for us to play at around 3-5am on weekends.

If you ever challenge Sauna however, I know we're willing to play for example early on Saturday (if you'd rather play on the afternoon than evening) or on Sunday afternoon (for example at around 5pm EST, which would be midnight for us, and thus after our euro-matches).

You haven't played us lately so I don't know why you've been faced with Sat/Sun date choices. But at least our team is flexible with the dates and times, and especially if your team could schedule a match to afternoon we are willing to play any day.

Of course we almost always have to play on weekdays when challenging up, and we accept that. As you probably understand though, it is much easier for us to field a team on weekends, and that's why we want to play Fri/Sat when given a chance.
