Damn... that looks like it could have seriously injured the driver.
I had an uncle who always used to tell me and my brother, many years back when we got our licenses, to never brake if we were about to hit a deer
If ya don't brake... deer goes under ya or gets deflected. If ya brake, nose dips and sends the deer hurtling into your windshield. People have been impaled by antlers that way

from the looks of it the deer jumped straight up or into the truck. Looks like it could've hurt. I'm curious as to what the brown substance is on top of the roof. Hair? Dirt? Wtf?

Every time someone hits a deer I get pissed off cause all they worry about is the vehicle. WHAT ABOUT THE FUCKING DEER? YOU JUST KILLED THE POOR THING YOU ASSHOLE. Watch where you're going, or start riding a bike. Its humanities fault for building highways.

Indeed, these pictures are real. We don't know the identity of the unfortunate motorist, but the local police did verify for us that an occurrence like the one depicted in the photographs took place on Interstate Highway 394 near the Minnesota town of Wayzata (just west of Minneapolis) when a deer fell or jumped off the Highway 101 bridge/overpass and landed on top a passing Dodge Durango, crashing through the windshield and onto the front seat. The driver was fortunate to have escaped with only minor injuries.
Unquote.
And there's a lot more pics there too. The last one was pretty gross.

it would have killed the driver tho..if you look at the pic with the head, it goes right into the driver's seat and the antlers break on the floor

Not necessarily. The impact might have certainly hurt him, and it did say he had minor injuries, but it's likely that the car frame and windshield absorbed the force of most of the impact, so the deer's head was probably laying on his shoulder. When he got out it drooped down to the seat. Freaky no?
Besides, the incident was confirmed by police and that urban legends website claims its status as true.
wtf does "might have certainly" mean
=)
